Nervous times ahead for me. I had a CT scan done to check up on a previous rib resection and the resection came back good but they found a couple large sized growths in my lungs. My Dr is very concerned and I have booked an appointment with a Lung specialist.

Felt like I had to tell someone as i haven't told anyone, family or friends. It would make it extremely difficult on my family as my sister has just completed chemo and had her cancer removed. They would just assume the worst and my parents aren't in great health as it is.
Thoughts are with you mate. Hoping that you get some positive news from the specialist very soon. The waiting is always tough.

All the best mate, my thoughts are with you for a good result. The waiting is the hard part
Find a good book..build something..even it’s bloody Lego..just something to occupy your mind.. Time will fly, and worry be less.
Cheers guys. Got some good news today. My sisters breast cancer removal was successful and it hasn't spread at all. 6 months of radiation and the docs are saying only a 2% chance of it coming back.

I thought this is probably the best place to put this..

Below is the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon raising awareness and money for Motor Neurone Disease which Burrow, a former Leeds Rugby League player and international, suffers from. After pushing Burrows for 42km his former teammate Kevin Sinfeld picks him up out of the wheelchair and walks him over the line.

This is the epitome of friendship and love..one of the most honourable and beautiful things I have seen. Kevin Sinfeld I bow down to you..Rob Borrow this was all for you..that’s how much you are loved.. I’m not ashamed I teared up and got a lump in my throat when Seinfeld gave him a kiss and hugged him tight..
