How good is Williams going? I honestly thought we were going to be fucked without VVD and Fabinho.

That was his first game in a proper competition and he played well.

Jota has to start against City, his off the ball movement is absolutely ridiculous.

His pace also was a massive asset. THose three interchanging was incredible.

Imagine having players like Thiago, Fabinho, Keita behind them dinging balls through for them.

HIs first game in the CL was solid, but I didn't expect us/him to deal with Atlanta with 'relative' ease in they way they did. Yes, Atlanta had 2-3 very good scoring opportunities so we weren't perfect, but they didn't score which is massive credit to the team.

A 19 year old central defender makes his 1st team debut in the Champions League. In fact, his first two games are in the Champions League. Incredible really.

Would've loved for Thiago to have started, but doubt he'll even be on the bench now. Expect Matip to be in the backs. Jota has to start. How would you guys set up in the midfield?

Hendo, Gini, and Keita? Think Hendo and Gini are 100%. Will be interesting seeing who he puts in the other position.

Where did you see that mate?

Personally I don't see the point in him joining the squad. He wouldn't be starting, and has had no games under his belt after injury. Better to truly rest him with international break coming up, and make sure he's fit.

Hopefully though that there's not something more serious.

He hasn't been in full training yet .. hopefully they're just being cautious

Decent guess. Would be a big call not to start Jota but with all the support of Firmino this week ... I think you could be right.

I've got it so much easier over here with watching games. Think it's at 630 in the evening my time. Hand to all of you that get up so early to watch games. That's true support and something I used to struggle a lot with.
