Apart from the terrible finishing ... that was the best I've seen Liverpool play this year. Napoli have been immense this year, mark my word. And we literally cut them to shreds and could've AND probably should've scored at least 4 goals.

Fabinho. Kieta. Shaq. All rested. All on bench. But still tore them to shreds.

We flipped the switch and reverted back to last seasons style. All of a sudden our midfield realised they we're capable of playing quick passes forward as well as making runs forward.

I personally don't think it's the case that we're flipping back to last season's style though there were glimpses of it, nor do I potentially want us to. I think our style this year is much more mature, much more patient, and if I'm honest, much better to watch ....

OK, we're not scoring for fun but at the same time we're more more dependable and giving away a lot fewer chances. Apart from that scramble at the end Napoli really didn't do a lot.
