He's not being instructed to kick or run... I don't think he made 1 kick today. But his effort to always be around the ball when defending is exceptional.

No, but is it really that difficult to not put EVERY KICK on the 30m line? He's dead set kicking some balls almost twice as high as he is long.

Hopefully Patolo has a big off season and kicks on next year. We need players like Stuckey to push for grade but I think we need a Vaughan type player. A professional prop who makes metres and bangs out big minutes. IMO, we should of tried to keep him. Not sure how we get rid of Thommo

Spot on, King and Vaughan are great workhorse props, but TPJ brings the fear and the game breaking moments. On his first hit up it was obvious that he had gotten into Tino's head with the midweek chatter, and Tino had his worst game in yonks. No other player in our team could have made the comments TPJ did and been taken seriously. When that dope 9 for Titans got all chirpy after they got the penalty TPJ shirt fronted him and played his cards well, no punches, nothing that would get him binned, and the penalty was already gone, so the ref did nothing. Don't mind that at all.

Totally agree
All teams need balance, can’t have a team of identical players. The rough edged aggressive prop is a must in every successful team.
