kind of weird for to expect a leagues club to have to do something about the cost of living crisis.
Once upon a time pubs and clubs were a great source of sponsorship for country league. Seems like there's no incentive these days for them to do it. As for us, I can't see the funds drying up if the football club needs it even if the tax breaks are shut off.All clubs do this.. this is just Cat 2 funding… Cat 1 is for community groups and is just as big.. non issue
how much to pubs put back?Per machine they smash a lot of clubs, but the money goes to their pockets
The leagues club exists because of gambling. The Football Club is community owned.
The Leagues Club would never have existed if not for the Football Club.
Haven't we been the richest leagues club for decades now? With Bankstown Sports either 2nd or 3rd?i’d be curious to see the figures from parramatta leagues for example which is bigger and located right next to their brand new stadium compared to our leagues club
You know why. Our demographics and associated with their need to create "baddies".Another boring attack on our club...
Question, why single out our club when all clubs do the same ?
Is our football team's eminent recovery to former greatness the result of these grants is the target ?
yeah we have, but i mean in terms of funding to the football teamHaven't we been the richest leagues club for decades now? With Bankstown Sports either 2nd or 3rd?
PS you are the richest when you have Asians and Lebs slapping all day and night...
We used to sponsor the local league team until they played up one too many times, and mouthed off to a Board member.. now we sponsor AFL, hockey, cricket, touch footy, soccer, cricket, lawn bowls, horse racing… and not just teams.. some of those are to sponsor the comp and they wouldn’t exist without us… if club grants finishes we will still do it, it’s why we are here. The biggest concern if there’s talk that the govt will just take the money and decide who gets itOnce upon a time pubs and clubs were a great source of sponsorship for country league. Government taking private enterprises' money and dictating what they do with it?We used to sponsor the local league team until they played up one too many times, and mouthed off to a Board member.. now we sponsor AFL, hockey, cricket, touch footy, soccer, cricket, lawn bowls, horse racing… and not just teams.. some of those are to sponsor the comp and they wouldn’t exist without us… if club grants finishes we will still do it, it’s why we are here. I think Mt. Pritchard and Panthers are more profitable, but we're in the top 3 for sure.Haven't we been the richest leagues club for decades now? With Bankstown Sports either 2nd or 3rd?

Yep. The Lakemba mosque is in the Dogs' heartland, and many still carry grudges about our area's reaction to the Cronulla riots - and will never forget the cap rort and Coffs Harbour. You know why. Our demographics and associated with their need to create "baddies".
