Harrison Edwards in 73 minutes:
3 runs for 18 m
Holy crap that can't be right. Vaughn probably had more post contact metres on one run than Edwards did for the game
Haven't seen him play much in NSW Cup but this dude gives me plodder vibes

He needs to stay in the middle and should not be out wide
Agreed. Glad he is still with us, apart from last week, he’s been very consistent and dangerous.

Yeah saw Edwards stats after the game. Disgusting tbh. I don’t see how Ava doesn’t get a bench spot. Patolo hasn’t kicked on. And the way Potter uses his bench is fucking retarded. Patolo needs to be dropped for Ava. And instead of Docker Clay, chuck that Skelton on to get him a run.

Potato is rubbish, just a rag doll. Shouldn't waste a bench spot.

He was awful wasn't he?

But the thing is, it's hard to actually blame a young kid who has only played a few games of first grade.

He just isn't good enough - whether he will be good enough one day - who knows.

The fact that a guy of his calibre plays 73 minutes with those stats just shows our extreme lack of depth - though we do have a lot out injured at the moment and Luke Thompson is also out

This week:
View attachment 58059
Last week:
View attachment 58058

Towelled up in run meters and towelled up in line breaks and post contact. The forwards are either not getting meters or we are giving up too many meters.

Last week we defended our ass off to keep it respectable against a good team. This week against shit, we give up 40.

Something needs to change.
Something that should be noted for fairness is players out:

Corey Allan
Matt Dufty (sure he's gone & useless but he was in our top 30)
Jack Hetherington
Teveita Pangai (big one when not injured)
Luke Thompson
Billy Tsikrikas
Corey Waddell

So that's 4 forward who would be starting & one back up. We are definitely lacking in size.

Thompson in second row, TPJ and RFM of the bench. Major differences right there. Hetherington would’ve been an interesting one to see under Potter. Allan with Kiraz at centre worked well great upgrade on Burns for me. Even Waddell is better then Harrison who just wasn’t good enough. Putting it into perspective it’s had a huge impact on us.

When is Thompson due back?? Taking a massive chunk of our salary cap for fuck all output this year…we are lacking grunt up front. Understandable TPJ being out, but I don’t see much difference in forwards next losing Vaughan who is the only one consistently making some ground up the middle, while we are paying some bloke on the sideline all year double the salary…

TPJ
King
Thompson
Ava
RFM
Pele
Patalo

They're our options through the middle next season, we're kind of down to bare bones for our middle last 2 rounds, so its no surprise we're being dominated

Ava and TPJ being out hurts, both big bodies and Thompson hurts because he takes so much of our cap
Patalo is a spud. Could find a better forward in NSW Cup. RFM should not be playing back row at all as his best football is as a middle of the bench.

That's what I see each week. The other sides have monster forwards who can run all day, and take us out in the final 20 minutes of a game.

Potter is assistant only
18 all 12 min to go and he takes off Marshall king for the flop docker clay who is not a 1 st grader
We were attacking and coughed it up
He was clueless
Still had a chance to win the game
Schoup is terrible in defence mess ti go back to Reggie’s

Avwrillo good bye you are not good enough fullback who can’t catch and is never on the puck in attack passenger

The unpleasant truth is that as much as TK hates the bloke, he usually puts in a performance that is at least sufficient for first grade. He isn't a game breaker or anything, but when you look at Edwards stats you can see what we are missing while Waddell is missing.
Harrison and docker are waste of 2 bench spots. Not sure who should be there but surely there is better then them that could be used playing more minutes

Waddell would be okay as a bench middle similar to the way Sorenson is used. Limit his minutes and you limit his errors and penalties and you'd get decent value out of him.

I'm not sure why Edwards was starting on the edge, he literally plays through the middle off the bench in NSW cup while Topine is the right edge backrower yet they were picked in reverse yesterday.
