Seriously, for mine, apart from the obvious coaching issues, here’s the main issues. Keeping in mind we need a squad so can’t just fk everyone off…

- we need to decide are we keeping a Dufty or Flanagan. With Mahoney and Burton next year, we need one more GUN spine player. Can’t afford 2. I’d be inclined to keep Flanagan. Can kick, defend, and all he need to do is control the field.
- Jackson needs to become a 17 member as a middle rotation, not a ball player. Him receiving the ball on crucial plays is the coaches fault. He has experience, he’s a true club guy, tough as nails in defence and can run hard if that’s his only mission in attack.
- I’d keep Thompson but for 250k less. He needs to be played as a 13 or back row. More minutes too.
- I’d punt Vaughan and chase someone like a Royce Hunt. TPJ in the middle next year too.
- maybe Kiraz could be the centre we’ve been looking for? Between him, Schoupp and Alamoti they are young enough and appear to have talent. Save some money developing them.
- Averillo, he’s a 14 and that’s it. Teach him how to pass from the deck, the. As a 14, he now covers 1, 3,4,6,7 and 9. Perfect.
- Wakeham, Waddell, JMK, Stimson, Burns, Allan, all gotta go
- I’d be keeping for squad Ava, Doorey, Topine, King, have a look at Stuckey, have a look at Hoffman, have a look at the young kid who plays prop they got from Tigers
- based in above, I’d hit the market for a FB (GUN), another middle (maybe Hunt), maybe another centre but not as essential.

1) You know we have injury issues/CVD and had no choice. Otherwise 'The Teacher' wouldn't be playing
2) Agree, but the only back rower with hands good enough to pass is TPJ and thats subtraction by addition. He needs to stay on the fringes
3) 40 mins, average yards/hitup was our best forward last night. 36 odd tackles in 40 mins - missed one. Whether he's overpaid for that is preBaz but stats wise probably his best game this season
4) Yeah - but given the squad last year was a reasonable excuse to be given another go
5) That all starts at Dummy Half and 1st receiver...
6) Which edge 2nd rower did Baz recruit? Waddell? Did ok at the Seagles. TPJ?

It's not a bad plan if you want to deconstruction the team and rebuild.

The bench rotation is so poor. It’s one of the things coaches do that goes unnoticed. Unless like Baz they have NFI.

For me the absolute no brainer is the lack of minutes BBO gets. For mine he should be coming on about the 25min mark. Give him 15 minutes against the tiring defence.

Even bringing BBO on at 9 and pushing JMK to 13 to finish the half. Giving Jacko less minutes.

Our team clearly lacks endurance fitness across the board. Baz definitely needs to where possible make the majority of changes in the final quarter of the game.

I've said it before. Baz has a love affair with JMK. If he can't take him off, move him to middle and get BBO on. BBO should be playing 25-30mins min off the bench

I would question why Bbo gets 6 minswhen Marshall king is so shit? Why not give our young hookers some game time to try something?
