But yeh. Why it was put in a bulldog section is beyond me. 6 years on and 5 clubs later. It’s always good to link it and point the finger back to the dogs I guess.

Honestly poor form. This is a cowboys NRL issue. Why have a direct link to the dogs. Not good enough. And definitely not a “mistake”.

Like I said previously. The administrators and media have killed this game. Won’t be wasting my time following the sport anymore. It’s a pathetic imitation of a professional league.

Yeh I see your point. I was literally a count down the days and watch every game type of fan. Played the game since 12 and played all through high school and reps.

I honestly can’t get psyched up about any game besides dogs games these days. And after the last 5-6 years of dib and Hasler and castle I just don’t get the game day buzz anymore.

It’s more a social thing now. Catch up at the pub for drinks more then to watch the game.

I can see the game getting ripped to shreds. Was the greatest game of all, now with clowns like grant incharge and the whole telegraph crap. It’s a shame to say but it’s not the spectical it once was. And the media and the administration are the blame for it.

It’s dumb that they go out of their way to impliment teams into articles when if the league folds so do their dumb ass careers.

I feel just as strongly as you do, about the skum reporters trying to harm our club and its only made me more determined to support our club.
I have always believed that they are trying to destroy our fan base, because that is the most effective way to harm our club.
Lets not forget the saying " when the going gets tough the tough get going".

The refereeing does my head in more than anything else now. Not helped by the fact that the admin have fucked clubs hard by fining them for daring to point out significant bias. But i have hopes that a change of admin can ressurect our game. At the end of the day the fans own the game. We just have to find a way to pry it out of the hands of the morons that are killing it with a death of a thousand cuts.

But like you I used to get hyped up for more than just Dogs games. Now i only watch our games and often wind up pissed off that biased refereeing greatly reduces our chances of winning. I do occasionally watch other games and the bias isn't just against us. Every now and then you see fixes where unbackable teams upset an opponent when every decision goes their way. But I'll never walk away from supporting our team.

Yep. And the accompanying article on Napa depicted him in a Bulldogs jersey, even though it all happened under the Roosters watch. Not a matter of water off a duck's back, more like teflon for the favoured clubs. I've no doubt there is a method behind the constant portrayal of the Dogs as bad for the game.The NRL wants a Sydney club gone to make way for another interstate club.

Footballers on the field such as Ben Barba try to portray themselves as role models, good people, great parents but it is all a facade for when the true person comes out into society and realises life is not a game and can't handle it.

Agree you 100% can’t add anymore except to say the club has a huge fan base. Underestimated by the nrl and other clubs. Once our boys start playing some decent footie which I expect this year the thousands will turn up. I also will always support our club .

We ALL acknowledge how good he can be with the footy.
It is his off-field antics and utter bullshit that has him painted as the devil (And if all the stories are correct, rightly so).

Absolutely yes it bothers me.

Because all the people that don't follow the sport closely, don't know better nor care to investigate further, read a bad headline associated with us. It damages our brand for the community and for future sponsors.

Recent example my Mother in law said another Bulldogs player is in trouble for their behaviour. She was referring to Napa when 5 year old footage withheld when he was at the Roosters was released.

If she saw this article and picture about Baba she would be saying yet again another Bulldogs player is in trouble.
