Im ok with the club standing firm not paying overs for him ,b smith only one worth paying overs for
Like or hate SJ people tend to forget the Fish people didn't want him despite loosing Townsend !!!
Could he be a risk going forward because of injuries ?
I waned him for his experience and running game not his organizing skills or game control.
If he truly did hoodwink our club I wouldn't want him here anyway !!!

Why make him a leader even if true yo?
Why not buy a leader and let everyone excel at their game yo.

For me? Throw hard cash at Benji yo. Not too late yo.
Think about how we is carrying DWZ money 400 odd, so we buy a hooker and prop yo and buy Benji at 250 yo then in 2023 we use his 250+ DWZ 400 and buy a slicktastic half then like Mitch Moses yo.

SJ Rubbishes reports that he was close to becoming a Bulldog - Says the Media was so far off, & that was probably the best part about it.

Go to the 1minute mark of the story.

So then, what the hell is going on with our recruitment apart from obviously not a lot???

Weird because I know 100 per cent there were meetings.

Maybe we were so far off that he never seriously considered us, just using us as a porn.

Maybe the good part he spoke about was exactly that, even the Warriors thought we had him & it pushed his price up.

Players always say things like that after they've signed with someone else to make it seem like he was only ever signing with the Warriors. There were definitely talks with us and he was close to signing but obviously he preferred to go back home as the Warriors came in with an offer last minute.

Never trust a word these players say when it comes to contract negotiations.

I never wanted us to sign Johnson and I'm glad we dodged a bullet when he went back to the Warriors..

He was horrible against Saints. The most Johnson-esque play was when he cross field kicked from his own 10 metre line down only 2 points with 15 minutes left. Saints caught the kick and scored the next play....

Now after one game he's already injured for up to 4 weeks with a pec strain. I'm glad he's the Warriors problem and not ours..

I saw this one coming a mile away.. He goes missing every game. Thankfully the Warriors and Johnson saved the club from making another horrible signing.

Weird how dog shit he was last year tho. I honestly thought he was finished going into this season. He's been top 5 half this year.
