Defence is based attitude. Clearly we had a bunch of blokes in the team who were not up to standard and not up to training. Leaking points is a given. Clear out the dead wood and then you can focus on the coach if he doesn’t deliver.

Curran is a good footballer and better than a lot of what we have now. However, he is just another lightweight edge forward.
Surely Augustus Gould must realise we need front row forwards, not backrowers. Apart from SST and maybe Patolo, we do not have any props.

Curran has started 8 games at lock and can play in the middle as well as he can on the edge. He'd be a good pick up if we can get him for his versatility. He'd be an upgrade over Waddell..

An upgrade on Waddell, hopefully similar money though. We need size in the middle to stop getting bullied like last year
