In some sense you are right. However the coach continues to make horrible interchange decisions on games and also is the one making these continued horrible selections

The problem there was last season he was able to take the shackles off and let them play free flowing attacking football but at the expense of any sort of properly organised defence, which is an unsustainable approach. He was good for that short time but if you're serious about turning things around long term, then you also need to focus on the defence.

Gus only achievement was setting up a decent junior system at Penrith who also happened to have the best junior base around. And their on field success wouldn't of happened if they didn't pis him off,only once he was gone and stopped from sacking coaches to pick worse ones did they succeed and I believe are still paying some players at other clubs from his cap management. The sooner he goes the less trouble he will dig us into
