Testament to the Raiders pack and depth that Sutton struggled to secure a starting role there.
They definitely have great depth but I think it's also because of Stuart mismanaging that lineup and messing around with the rotations and minutes constantly.

I think we may try resign RFM on unders or maybe go with Doorey and get in the market for a solid half. Probably is there isn’t many available…
A few booting Hethro who has all year to prove he is a good edge forward option and played ALL of last year out of position in a dad's army team, while RFM didn't play only racked up a boatload of medical bills..HE has lots to prove and it likely may be his last year, not Jacky boy.
And unless someone has toughened up Doorey a lot he may not be here imo looked soft late last year, not sure he will get much opportunity in FG this year anyway.

Not being critical but what are Sutton's weight/height? Looks not that big maybe playing him lock is the go? IF Thommo is going and Vaughan has a good year we should keep him on if the price is right.
Or maybe another option pops up instead..

And he has us signing Koula? Haha wtf.

Sutton seems like a smart buy. On his day Thommo is one of the best forwards. Pity that those days are few and far between, and he only has to look the wrong way and he gets suspended. If Sutton is to replace him or Jacko, I like it. We have at least the first part of the season to decide if we want to offer Vaughan an extension, but based on what we know now, I reckon he's the choice out of him and Thommo, if we had to make it. It's looking like Gus et al are trying to balance the cap spread and getting rid of the overpriced contracts, like Thommo.
I never said we were signing Koula you drop kick, merely that he and May are the types we should be going for if we need to look at outside backs.
As for Rajab, I think he has the potential to be a really good half for us, if you disagree that's fine... but what would you prefer... Averillo? Flanagan? Wakeham? .... no thanks.

He's isn't a play 1 prop if that's what your getting at, more of a workhorse type that's strong in defence.

Replacement for RFM. His off contract.
How is RFM still on our books....might be a lovely bloke but he is an injury waiting to happen and is at best a fair first grader...

Exactly, time to remove all the duds that were gathered from pay, and hasler.

RFM played every single game in 2020, he has only had the one term injury and unfortunately it was a bad one for recovery. Anyone with any experience in bone fractures in the foot of an athletes will tell you that they are horrible injuries that can be very complex and take time to fix.

nothing to do with Luke. He’s happy, Gus is just pulling the strings and finances, he loves a gamble !
Hey Andy, what’s Thommo’s opinion on Baz? He a fan? Think he’s got the right stuff to propel the team

Ricky Stuart is such a petty ****.. Sutton has gone from starting regularly last year, to big minutes off the bench to now on the extended bench because he's signed with us..

Yet he rushes players signed from other clubs like Elliott and CHN into the lineup.. What a clown.
