Except this isn’t true. Trump has blacklisted Fox. That’s why he had the Tucker interview whilst the repub debates were on. So as to not give fox money.
Trump was a fox friend probably up until ‘insurrection’ times.
I googled Lachlan Murdoch and trump and even MSM says Lachie hates Trump.
But it’s a good tactic because if fox wants their right wing base still, they need to do something. Or they go left wing and face the other blatant left networks
Trump distanced himself from Fox long ago because Opinion shows were supporting him, but the news was still publishing news about him. He got annoyed that they wouldn't openly campaign for him.

But the opinion shows on Fox have praised Trump all year.

From what I have understood, and people have told me different, but I don’t believe it, Rupert is not Jewish and therefore Fox is the only non Jewish network via ownership in America.
He is stil among the American elites so he rubs shoulders with the crew. So does toe a line. Which willl explain why Fox is the only MSM that doesn’t go full socialist. However does find itself subject to attacks.
Look at Russell Brand.
For a good 9 days he has been slaughtered with attacks from the media for calling it out subtlety.
The clue for the critical thinkers out there, is if he is guilty, why are all these people waiting ten years to speak? Even after the ‘Me too’ movement.
That should show you there is more at play here.
Some are going off script. Like Katherine Macpherson, who earlier this week was listed as some Owen Russell assaulted but she came out and said not to involve her in whatever media attacks are happening to Russell.

I think most of us are in agreement that Rupert is a scumbag, but this post is pointless without some context. Is this a day old? A week? Twenty years? Is it the whole statement or was it cherrypicked? Was he responding to something somebody said or did? What kind of response did it generate?

A punter's response today to Murdoch's statement posted above, and earlier, to his employees on his "retirement" and new self title of chairman emeritus.

Posted as a matter of interest for those interested in the thread subject. Well known fact I'm not a big fan of the cherry picking lop-sided media we get from Fox, Daily Telucrap, Buzz etc so I am re-posting Twitter tweets on the guy ...so as a Bulldogs supporter:
Schadenfreude :grinning:

Anyone triggered or a fan of Murdoch should probably put me on Ignore :grinning:

This current tweet is trending atm. Haven't seen any good character references/statements about Murdoch except from some current Lib and Labor politicians lol. Gus won't be crying that's for sure.

Yet you can’t answer normal questions.

conspiracies are a left wing thing though, it was left wing people who thought JFK was shot by CIA, left wing people who thought the Iraq war 2003 was a handpicked war, left wing people believe big business and elites are evil and conspire to keep people down

right wing means establishment, but now for some reason it has switched and the left is the establishment

Left wing people used to be all about dissension and questioning everything, they were conspiratorial and skeptical of power

I think both sides are as crazy as each other. But let's not forget that a large part of Trump's campaign was run on, "elites are conspiring to keep you down"

And his subsequent conspiracy of the "stolen election"

Its a real interesting chicken and egg argument. Did conservative media create the narrative or was the narrative created elsewhere and did conservative media just report it.

Which is very interesting when you consider all the negativity about Murdoch in this thread alone, but some of that is coming from the same crackers that think Bill Gates 5G is playing with their sperm count.

To me, I acknowledge Murdoch as a consummate businessman. Transitioned from print to electric. Successfully built a global empire. Is probably the greatest businessman Australia ever produced.

But geez Fox is full of shit.

Hillary Clinton fans have conspiracies about the email scandal timing, Al Gore votes think Bush stole 2000 election, whoever the hell ran in 2004 (John Kerry) they think that the Osama Bin Laden tape release was a conspiracy, Obama fans felt that they were going to assassinate him, Bernie Sanders fans have conspiracies, Democrat voters have conspiracies about Gerrymandering

Occupy Wall Street people were angry about something, left wing by definition is the dissenting wing, but now they have their own establishment that seems to be in control, so the left is the new right

Murdoch was a great business man and made millons selling lies and rubbish he could find to the simple,
Any person with .0001 of a brain would know that truth is meaningless with most of the media. But as the saying goes the truth wont make you any friends it wwill only make you enemies..

Agreed. Murdoch is a businessman. He's also a prick, but you need to be a prick to be a good businessman.

Coincidentally, also pushed the occasional conspiracy. Like when he said that Jewish media were controlling the world. But he likely said that to drive viewership in his direction.

But again, did he push it or did he report a belief. And tbf - the Jewish media apparatus is very good at what they do. Don't get me wrong, the Holocaust was a disgrace that should never happen again. But it has been marketed in a very clever way as being the worst. Which, pending how you look at the stats, the rate of death was much higher for others (i.e. Rwanda). And the Holocaust never occurred in the Jewish homeland, unlike many other genocides through history.

And I fully understand it, the Jewish media have pushed it as a defense mechanism. Yet, I'll guarantee if I put this statement on social media, I'll be accused of antisemitism and have protestors at my front door. Well played. If manipulating the message stops events like the Holocaust occurring - I can live with that.

Don't get me wrong, don't have anything against jews or any other group as a collective (well maybe not true - not a big fan of collective stupidity or Hyundai I30 owners) but in some respects Rupert was right. Now whether he was right for the right reasons is another question entirely.
