Yep 500k for a half that's going (realistic expectation) to be in the bottom 4 for his position. That's bad business imo.

Where have I said he isn't a good player? You're arguing that clubs weren't after him last year and it's due to his form this year that everything has changed. When he was just as good if not better last year and the year before when he started way more games.

My point is that he was off contract last year and didn't leave. Which means he either didn't have many offers or he was told he might be replacing Moylan.

That doesn't mean things can't change but you're saying Trindall is worth 500k (you said 650-700k the other day..) which is way more than what he's worth...

We'll see what happens. If they stick with Moylan next year then he may look to leave.

You did raised a question though, and I came up with a few maybe theories to answer your question, clubs not going after him being one of those theories, a form improvement being another, but they were just theories amongst a few, I then said that at the end of the day punters like us wouldn’t have a clue, we have no idea about those types of circumstances.

Your point as I’ve previously mentioned on what happened last year when he re-signed with them is just your opinion, and I respect your opinion, but it’s really just speculation like any of my comments … unless of cause you have inside knowledge, which you haven’t eluded to ..

I believe for a good solid 7 $500k is on the mark, with incentive upgrades over time if he continues to show improvement.

Don’t ever remember every saying $650k or $700k, but if I did I apologise for that, that’s definitely a bit over zealous ..

The way the Tigers have gone after a few other 7’s lately I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get him, which would disappoint me and a bunch of others on TK because we rate him and we’d obviously prefer to see him to come to us ..

If you have a look through here, there’s literally comments of me agreeing Sullivan would also be a good halfback choice ..

At least I’m adding footy content and discussions on how we could possibly solve our halfback problem..

Meanwhile we’re buying a centre that won’t play centre … we’ll have arguably the 2 best centres in the comp and neither will be playing centre ..

We don’t buy players who specialise in a position, we’re good at buying players and hoping they’ll come good for us playing out of position …

Any mention that the Sharks have probably promised him a 1st grade spot next year is speculation, who are they moving out to accommodate him.

Moylan’s a 185 seasoned 1st grade 6 who’s playing good footy, he’s only 32, he can easy re-sign with them for another 2 years.

Plus Moylan’s a running 6 .. anyone who’s watched Trindall play, knows he’s a game managing old school 7 .. and can anyone see them moving their Dally M halfback to accomodate Trindall ?

Narrr .. if the Tigers go hard they’ll get him, just as we could if we tried ..
