How many times have we seen that combo produce similar results? That’s the most frustrating thing. It’s like hitting your head against a brick wall. If Wakeham and Cogger were playing at least there’s a positive in that we saw a new combo and would have seen if it had potential or not. It’s a very low point at the minute but use the time constructively to get answers for the future. I think we have an answer about Reimis at centre and possibly Britt on a edge.

We'd have to throw huge money at top halves for them to break contract. Picking up inexperienced halves isn't going to do anything and Wakeham is already one of the most promising young halves. I don't know if we're allowed to or not because they're contracted but if we threw ~1.1m at Munster and ~1m at Keary would it do anything? If we're looking at what's available we're not going to be able to strengthen in the halves or fullback positions.

It's basically a nsw cup standard squad with a handful of players that could be classed as regular first graders. No second rowers, Jackson was but he is middle forward now. Up to the club to recruit well for 2021 and beyond.
