Georgie is simply showing Baz exactly how shit all our players are. This way there’s no way any of the off-contract garbage can bluff their way into a new contract. Georgie has done a fantastic job of making sure everyone plays as bad as possible.

JMK is a keeper... pretty sure his got the most line breaks this year and can virtually fill in anywhere on the park if needed. You just need those guys in the team.

Thompson is just not a prop. He is a running edge forward.
Hopoate is not a fullback.
Smith is not a centre.
Lafai is not a first grader.
C.Smith is not up to this standard.
I would persist with DWZ at fullback.

Did Meaney do that bad? or was he injured? Did Reimis show something to come into centre? Why is lafai back after a few weeks on the sideline? the guy aint improving ever again..... yet he was dropped for what seems like atleast 2-3 weeks for Holland and Montoya, then comes back in........ Meaney should have been given the rest of the year to prove himself at fullback, kid never really got any extended mins even though showing slight improvement from game to game (shouldnt we be developing players?) Hoppa is the best centre we have....... yet somehow some genius thought lets put him at the back, he lacks any form of acceleration, I actually think Tolman might have a bit more pace then him and thats not saying much.

Cant wait for the season to end, disappointing one to say the least. Barrett has his work cutout in the offseason because if we roll out Hoppa at fullback, Lewis at half, JMK in the 9, Smith and Lafai at centre and Jackson at 11 it might be worth just burring our heads in the sand and pretending like 2021 didnt happen either.

I somewhat agree with your assessment of DWZ.
But compare him to the incumbent.
His ball returns are very good. Has good speed.
His positional play is very good.
He is good defensively.
I know he has a few mistakes in him, but they all do.
The incumbent. Has pedestrian speed.
Misses tackles.
Poor positional play.
Poor link man.
Which one is the worst.

Meaney has been one of the best a year - Georgalis is a bum what a joke of a line up!

Meaney has been better but he he had his worse game last week. Some of his defence was beyond pathetic. I'm increasingly thinking he would be better suited at fullback, but overall he just doesn't seem physically strong enough for first grade.

It’s a tough one for Meaney. There are blokes like Dufty and Papenhausen that play fullback who are similar size to him but they have better ball skills.

He is definitely not a winger. Gets dominated all of the time.

His future may be in the ESL
