I think that dogs need to target Corrigan and Merrit with hit ups and bombs. The lyks of Idris, Morris and Goodwin could out muscle and out leap and out muscle Corrigan and Merrit, even though Merrit can jump but there is a height difference between Morris and Merrit. If Corrigan plays on the same side as he has done each round so far, he will be marking up against Idris.
Didnt Corrigan break his leg? I dont think he's playing.

Its anybody,s game and they might test us more than anyone else, its the game where we will have to complete the sets and stay composed under pressure to get it right.

Souths Team

http://www.rleague.com/db/article.php?id=32865

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are pleased to announce their team to take on the Bulldogs in round five of the 2009 NRL Premiership this Monday 13 April at ANZ Stadium.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Jason Taylor has named Beau Champion in the centres, replacing Shaune Corrigan who broke his leg in last Sunday's win over the New Zealand Warriors.

Please note that this is a Bulldogs home game. Rabbitohs Ticketed Members do have access to this game under the reciprocal rights agreement reached between the Rabbitohs, Bulldogs, Eels and ANZ Stadium for the 2009 season.

The Rabbitohs NRL side is:

1) Luke Capewell
2) Nathan Merritt
3) Colin Best
4) Beau Champion
5) Fetuli Talanoa
6) John Sutton
7) Chris Sandow
8) Luke Stuart
9) Issac Luke
10) Roy Asotasi (c)
11) Ben Lowe
12) Shannan McPherson
13) David Fa'alogo

Interchange:

17) David Kidwell

Hard to beat, if Hazem and Millard have to mark Fetuli...they are going to have their hands full..

If he breaks the line, its pretty much over coz neither would have the pace to catch him

They have a tonne of attacking weapons in Luke, Wing, Sutton, Sandow and guys like Best and Merritt are playing very well. We will have to wrap up the ball and make sure they don't get quick play the balls or they could kill us.

Their defense is very good also. It will be a tough game.

It sounds like a cliche but this is one game in particular where we need to win it in the forwards and dominate territory and not give their little men any chances.

This is the one game that cannot be underestimated.

On their day, Souths have proven to be a very dangerous team - so the Dogs will have to prepare 100% for this game if they're going to win.

Either way, I'm expecting a very tight match - *sigh*

1) Luke Capewell - Rubbish, couldnt catch any of Roberts and Holdsworth bombs last year
2) Nathan Merritt - **** defender but has pace to burn
3) Colin Best - Strong but slow
4) Beau Champion - Rubbish
5) Fetuli Talanoa - Strong, must be stopped, but he does leave the defense wide open and is inconsistent
6) John Sutton - Inconsistent
7) Chris Sandow - He to must be stopped. Can take control of the game in his own
8) Luke Stuart - Is a very soft front rower
9) Issac Luke - Probably the most dangerous player in that souFFS side
10) Roy Asotasi (c) - We all know about him
11) Ben Lowe - Another soft front rower
12) Shannan McPherson - Rubbish
13) David Fa'alogo - Short tempered and gives penalties away far too easily

Interchange:
14) Craig Wing - Lady Boy was the one that won them game against us last season
15) Eddy Pettybourne - Rubbish
16) Jaiman Lowe - Rubbish
17) David Kidwell - Old but still a strong player.
