  • No, I am not

If Ciro likely goes Mann, Sitili and Curran - latter two prop interchange and Mann 13 replacement and Haywood stints Reed then that make sense but brace yourself for Haywood playing in the middle just not at hooker

That makes sense.

Keen to see what happens.

Belmore line is closed atm and you'd have to go to redfern then to sydnham for replacement buses to get back to belmore. Or train to yagoona then catch the rail replacement bus.

Yuck. Just Uber the *****.

Well yes? Does you think Holmes gonna go around critta and score? No. He had him covered, wilson needs to tryst inside man, a couple metres further wide and he tackles him
Val already gets outside of Critta, I probably agree the issue starts further in but Crichton plants his feet and doesn't trust Sexton inside him. Wilson essentially covers 3 and does a crazy good job of even getting to tuipulotu

He literally just got over the line, hes too narrow, not hard to understand, wilson is too far in, use your brain
Yh push Wilson further wide so the attack can slice though the gap between him and Critta with absolute ease and score closer to the posts. Good one. Amazing.

Critta bit on the decoy, plants his feet and then gave far too much space on his outside shoulder and it's something he has done quite frequently with us.

Been doing it every game and seems like teams are trying to exploit since last year. But because the media says he's the best defensive centre everyone ignores his fault

Would encourage anyone criticising the Salmon selection to watch the Dragons game again and pay attention to the opening 20 mins in particular. His workrate in defence, especially in halting opposition forwards from getting momentum is actually pretty impressive.
I’m not a Salmon lover by any means, he’s definitely not an attacking machine or a metre eater. But I can definitely understand why he gets picked for the sake of team balance.
Nailed it, Salmon is there for the first 20 minutes, tackle the sting out of opposition bigs. So they have nothing in the tank when it counts.

Or, the opposition coach subs his starting bigs out earlier than he would like eg; Guler off after 17 mins, bet Flanagan didn’t have that planned. Then Couchman and De Belin off and within 3 mins we go bang, bang try, try.

It’s ever so simplistic to look at it and claim Salmon goes off and we score 2 tries. But we can’t ignore the reason why.

Team Work

I didn't watch it when I saw who the lineup was tonight. Did the wanker have a huge cry that Crichton didn't get suspended?
Yep Crawley was all over it. I have no doubt his mate Buz had something to do with it also

Exactly. It's got to be both. At the same time.

And FUCK United
We're shit at soccer so I say fuck soccer altogether :tearsofjoy:
Did anyone watch 360 tonight fuckin Crawley made it out like we get treated favourably with calls cause we’re a big club. It was around the 21-22 minute mark I think. Such a flog
Has long had notoriety for being a shit show and I don't watch shit shows, do yourself a favour and follow this lead.
Alternatively 100 % footy last night was a very good watch stick to friendlier shows. #fuckthenaysayerjournostheyhavecrabs

Anyone see the flop Paul Crawley on 360 tonight talking about bulldogs and Crichton SMH

How about him bringing up the covering tackle on Arthurs from the trial saying it was almost just as dangerous looool

How this bloke has a job and is on tv is beyond me
Saying ref's r bias to the "better teams" or "flavour of the moment" but he's not being biased at all due to his hate for the club

He gave me a good laugh... he's clueless

CAN anyone say what's the go with Hughey injury wise. I don't mind this side not real big on SALMON but you can't knock his heart he has a crack but he's got a few brain snaps in him. Hopefully we get off to a good start this week and keep the ball rolling. TITANS have a big forward pack but our men are more than capable of handling them.

Just an ankle mate, he'll likely be back in a few weeks.

Ciraldo loves Salmon and Hayward for their versatility, allows our other forwards and Reed to take a breather in defence when they come on. And you can't fault him for it, its been working.

I'm not worried about the Titans, not convinced they are any better than last year. I see us winning 13+ the first 30 minutes may be tight though.

This stubbornness and favouritism makes me have doubts around whether Ciraldo can be the guy moving forward. Just get the win but fuck me if Hayward and Salmon are the reasons we leak points through the middle again just like we did as soon as they were both in the middle than serious uncomfortable conversations must be had
We keep winning and it’s clear things have changed for the better, we’re a legit finals team now and only getting better with cap space to burn, there’s some players that offer something unique in team sport, I trust Ciro knows what he’s doing, he’s earned that imo.

So like i said in my original point, holmes isnt gonna score with critta on the inside , so only way they score is going wide and hes too narrow, comeon, wake up champ

Dont agree mate, i can see what you are saying but i still think if wilson trusts critta he gets holmes

I mean either way, without kiraz i still believe this years wingers are a huge downgrade, losing skelton aswell was such a big loss, hes much better than montoya and wilson
