Team Work

Nothing like developing your best 17 players to fit the game plan. Let’s just put in lesser players cause they tackle and let our better players play NSW Cup cause they tackle but are better with the ball. Cant have that in the NRL team

How about him bringing up the covering tackle on Arthurs from the trial saying it was almost just as dangerous looool

How this bloke has a job and is on tv is beyond me
Saying ref's r bias to the "better teams" or "flavour of the moment" but he's not being biased at all due to his hate for the club

He gave me a good laugh... he's clueless

He sounds deranged tbh. Glad I don’t watch that tripe.

Yeah. Nah.

I get what people are saying, but ultimately you win games based on how well players play together. Right?

Why tf would Crawley say we get favorable calls because we're a big club? But when we were struggling for years on end getting dud calls that wasn't the case then? Absolute grinch!

The media. They love to talk about us because our fans react. Ignore his rubbish

I watched that tackle last night, how the fuck was that dangerous? You see that exact same tackle every weekend.

Then the dickhead complaining that Tapine was suspended and Critta wasn't. Tapine's shoulder charge was as blatantly on purpose as possible, how could he not be suspended for that

Can Kurt Mann play a full 80 in the middle? He’s integral to our attack. Having salmon there kinda offers nothing in comparison and id rather another hole puncher like Hayes

Yes but he'd probably kill himself in the process. He should be pushing 50 most weeks with more emphasis on the players around him carrying the load. As you and many others have mentioned the drop off from Mann to Salmon/Hayward is catastrophic. Coach doesn't think so though.

Do you really want Mann to start ? he's so good after the first 20min because the other side starts to become complacent and he exposes them. If he starts he'll be one of the ones doing the early dirty work

Surely in the next few weeks once everyones fit barring injury. Haywood and fish will be on the outer

The example of the tackle in the trial game shows he is taking the piss. This same tackle happens in every game multiple times.

He does have a point that Ref’s favour the favourites. They have been doing this since 1908. A referee error that contributes to the favourites getting beaten gets highlighted. When the team that was supposed to win wins. There is less focus on the referees. Whether it’s conscious or unconscious. Referees have always done this.

I take umbrage at him suggesting we are favourites. We have been getting the wrong side of 50-50’s for years. Yet all of a sudden he finds a few things that went our way. Them all of a sudden we are favoured WoW

We were penalised double what the Dragons were in the game. Does he check that stat before going off.

Crawley & Buzz are just Bulldog narcs.

I get this but your telling me Hayes can’t do what salmon does if you gave him that role??

Hey Harry I want you to tackle your arse of in the middle for 25 mins to start the game and wear the opposition out then I’m going to sub Curran , Sitili on to run rampant. Hows that sound ?

No boss I’m better than that I’ll go play NSW Cup ….

Ridiculous gymnastics going on here.

Penalty count 6-3 to the dragons, how is that favorable?
Crawley give yourself an upper cut!

I have a giggle at every mention that we get favourable calls. The media should do there research into why now the NRL check every try. We played Souths, can’t remember what year, maybe 21-22, was Jackos 200th. We knocked over Souths. However Souths scored a try on HT. Ref gave it without checking. Replays showed the Souths bloke foot went out before grounding. The try stood because it was allowed. Luckily it didn’t affect the game.

No need to rush Hughes back if he isn't close to 100% ready, done it far too many times last season with multiple players clearly not close to being match fit being sent out onto the field. Honestly questioning if Critta is upto standard ATM, didn't look sharp during the trials and certainly didn't look it during the game last week. We unfortunately don't have anywhere near the depth in the backs that we do in the forwards tbf.
Given we had the opposite problem last season, amazing how quickly things change.

2024 penalties conceded. Was curious based on the muppet Crawley talk.
