So Stuart holds a grudge against something Salmon did as an 11 year old?
imagine a dogs coaching staff spoke about a player like that.
I wonder what he thinks of the off field actions of Elliot, CHN, Horsbrough, Starling etc since they became adults?

Master of deflection..does it so everyone doesn't focus on the fact that that his team lost a game they should have won..thus bring his coaching under the spotlight .. He did it 2016 when the Raiders lost to the Sharks in a home semi..even though Cronulla had no Gallen and Graham was knocked out early and didn’t play the rest of the game..plus they had a good lead.. To deflect from the loss at the press conference basically called Ennis a grub because he mocked the Viking Clap.. Actually they are good mates and a couple of years later Stuart employed Ennis..who’d retired.. on the Raiders coaching staff!

It was a dog shot from Salmon. It was intentional & could have caused damage.
Panthers player so will be protected by judiciary. Give him 6 weeks, kicking blokes in the nuts is a chicks go.
Gutless NRL will offer him a $200 fine instead.

The fact that Stuart is holding a grudge for something a 12 year old did
He was 12 years old for goodness sake. 12!
We don't know what he did as a 12 year old, they were teammates, so says heaps about Salmon. If he does this shit as an adult, he would do dirty shit as a kid.

Certainly looks bad on some of the still images, I reckon he had a go with the other foot too. I don't recall seeing anything like this before, seems like he didn't like getting tackled hard. If that is the case he is in the wrong sport.

It was the kick after this one in the photo. This one in the photo wasn't even a kick, his foot was just stuck there

The incident which triggered one of the most personal attacks ever seen at a rugby league press conference occurred at a junior league game in the Shire more than a decade ago.

Canberra coach Ricky Stuart launched a savage takedown of Penrith stand-in five-eighth Jaeman Salmon on Saturday night, referring to the 23-year-old as a “weak-gutted dog” following an on-field incident which saw Tom Starling kicked in the genitals while making a tackle.

The Panthers are now exploring their legal options on behalf of Salmon, who was left rattled by Stuart’s tirade. Stuart is also facing sanction from the NRL for his comments, including the option of a potential suspension as well as a fine.
Sources with knowledge of the history between Stuart and the Panthers No.6 told the Herald that the coach’s fury dates back to an incident between his son and Salmon during a junior league game in 2010.

Sources said Stuart’s son was in tears after an incident with Salmon, who was his teammate in the under 12’s at the time.

Stuart then approached Salmon, whose father took exception to the comments and actions from the then Cronulla coach. The pair had to be separated as things became heated.

“He was a weak-gutted dog as a kid and he hasn’t changed now. He is a weak-gutted dog person now.”

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo confirmed that the NRL Integrity Unit was looking into the comments.

“It’s a disappointing situation,” Abdo told the Herald.

“This happened last night and everyone deserves due process. We will get all the facts before making a decision.”

Salmon was placed on report for kicking Starling between the legs in a chaotic clash on Saturday night. He is facing a possible charge as the match review committee looks over the incident on Sunday morning.

Stuart could not hide his emotions when asked about the incident as the Raiders went down to the premiers 26-6 at GIO Stadium.

Salmon was keen to talk to the media when he learnt about the comments, but the club advised him it was best if he kept quiet.

The 23-year-old grew up in Cronulla and made his debut for Parramatta before shifting to Penrith. He has never been coached by Stuart.

More to come
Has to be more to it than that. What could a 12 year old playing on the same team as his son possibly do on the field to trigger such comments so many years later?

Sticky cleary lost control when he shouldn't have, but, Tbf, it was a dog act.
