Was discussed earlier on here by a few of us as a potential move for him, two games in with limited minutes and he has looked very good. Anyone else thing this is a potent long-term option for us? Really give us something we're missing through the middle with his footwork, strength, pace and offloading ability. Hopefully he holds his spot and gets bigger minutes so we can get a better read on it. Finally something else that excites me about us right now..

Need to see more before I can say he’s a prop. As of now, I’d say not yet.

At the start of the year I had him down as bench/impact Prop, surprised he didn't really get a chance there during the season.

What makes you doubt it? I feel like it's the perfect fit for him and us.

Isn’t the rumour is that he’s leaving?..fucking hope not, had huge wraps for him from lost season.

I can see where you’re coming from but prop is a specialist trade (a good one of course, not just the ones that plod up).
He has the potential but maybe not full time yet. I think he needs to ease into it if his juniors and applying his trade was in the back row.
A full pre-season and if after a couple of games he has the right numbers, that’s when you can tell.
But that’s just my opinion

Pay is an idiot if he lets him go. He's always been great but needed time after 2 significant injuries. 90m and 4 tackle breaks but still only given 16 minutes.

I'd say he has the right numbers right now tbh, just needs to extra minutes to see how he goes with the increased workload.

It’s only tonight though. Last week was good but nothing like tonight.

We have the rest of the year, I would keep on persisting with him in that area as we have nothing to lose and a potential talent to gain.

The signs were there last week, we just didn't have as much of the ball when he was on like this week. His metres per run, play the ball speed and post contact metres were all there, something Napa and Tolman lack.

From day 1 he came the Dogs i said he was a lock and not a second rower.

He definitely has it in him as a lock/prop.

He has top leg drive, is mobile and has an offload or two in him.

He is our black version of Cameron Murray
