Because of injury. Not because of lack of ability. he came on and provided the spark Burton had failed to provide all game on Sunday.

Reynolds is not the future of this club on the field. If he wants to mentor players in reserves fine but he needs to stay as far away from the field as possible

Hate to say it but nobody can argue with this as far as what JR was able to achieve in his last tenure. Plenty of warranted criticism on him for his later form which did drop off.
I think bringing Foran in for Des was always the plan.

It would make much more sense for him to mentor our inexperienced first grade halves. But that's Ciraldo's thing - he makes dumb decisions.

Its not like Brett Kimmorly in 2009 who had some decent form still though

Poor heart and soul is all used up, even if we had injuries to every half and hooker in our top 30 I would pick TPJ in the halves over him.

wouldn't hurt for reynolds to play 80 mins in nsw cup to boost confidence and fitness up in case we get an injury in the halves during the season

What can JR teach about being a traditional half? JR was more of an off the cuff individual player. Not an organiser, not a ball player and an average kicking game.
