Fair enoughNope don't agree
You know when God killed all the first born Egyptians, is that ok?And...what's your point?
Just because there is miscarriages doesn't mean it's ok to kill the unborn.
Just like how there are unfortunate events on building sites where tradesman die, doesn't mean you can force the situation and kill a tradesman on purpose.
Clearly you are a Roosters supporter, wouldn't expect anything less.
Yeh I don't know how pedos think... I don't know if they all sit there thinking about it all day like I'd imagine the serial pedos would or if some just carried away .. the record I was sexualy abused by a bloke In the church when I was 12 - stayed at his joint for a movie night - he put on porn - the rest was history.Ok my bad, but there are plenty of married men who are still pedos. A pedo still needs his/her child fix regardless
God created the Egyptians, Can a creator stipulate how his creation should live? were the Egyptians honouring their creator? Can a creator choose what he does with his creation? You know when God killed all the first born Egyptians, is that ok?
We're made in the image of God right? So what's good for the goose, is good for the ........?God created the Egyptians, Can a creator stipulate how his creation should live? were the Egyptians honouring their creator? Can a creator choose what he does with his creation?
Do you believe the stories in the bible are true or made up?You know when God killed all the first born Egyptians, is that ok?
How does that apply to your assertion that abortion is wrong? i.e. this has nothing to do with me, as I'm not the one who bases his morals on what's written in the bible. You base your morals on what is in the bible, which is why I asked how you view the story that God killed all the first born Egyptians to deliver the Jewish people and justify that with abortion.Do you believe the stories in the bible are true or made up?
We're made in the image of God right? So what's good for the goose, is good for the ........?
My point is, you, like every other religious type I've met, will only attribute the good to your god, never the bad like 23 million miscarriages per year. It is a common failing on your ilk.And...what's your point?

So if the bible has not been inspired by God, then it is merely a book just like other books. If so, then God didn't kill all the first born Egyptians. So your question is invalid. To answer your question though, I don't believe in the validity of the bible's assertion that there is a God and that the bible has been inspired by said God.
I don't base my opinion of abortion on the bible or my faith. Even if I wasn't a Christian I would still think abortion is wrong. You are now making assumptions. You do know there are many non-Christians and people of no faith that also believe abortion is wrong, right? Not just Christians.as I'm not the one who bases his morals on what's written in the bible. You base your morals on what is in the bible,
Very true, most people do not hold the bible as true.. for those of us who do we should be able and willing to discus difficult questions. How does that apply to your assertion that abortion is wrong? i.e. this has nothing to do with me, as I'm not the one who bases his morals on what's written in the bible. You base your morals on what is in the bible, which is why I asked how you view the story that God killed all the first born Egyptians to deliver the Jewish people and justify that with abortion.
To answer your question though, I don't believe in the validity of the bible's assertion that there is a God and that the bible has been inspired by said God. The stories included in the bible itself range from having some historical relevancy/truth to it, to being copied from other cultures/beliefs historical records, to being completely made up. It depends on the story and the archaeological veracity of individual tales.
Why do women give god credit in the bedroom?but it does not make us God or as valuable as God.
I wasn't alluding that we're on the same level as God. Rather that I would've expected God to be an example of how we should carry ourselves, as we should be on God's path right? Hence, we're created in his image and we should live our lives on his path, therefore if he kills first borns.....The image of God elevates our value over any other animal, but it does not make us God or as valuable as God.
Still waiting on what this has to do with me thinking abortion is wrong? You know there are people of non-faith who also believe abortion is wrong. My point is, you, like every other religious type I've met, will only attribute the good to your god, never the bad like 23 million miscarriages per year. Do as i say not as i do ..perhaps?I wasn't alluding that we're on the same level as God. Rather that I would've expected God to be an example of how we should carry ourselves, as we should be on God's path right? Hence, we're created in his image and we should live our lives on his path, therefore if he kills first borns.....
I think it was a valid question, as we should be willing to answer those types of questions regardless. So if the bible has not been inspired by God, then it is merely a book just like other books. If so, then God didn't kill all the first born Egyptians. So your question is invalid.

P.S it's time to update to PE Teacher 22, we are in January
But according to you God never killed first borns. It's just a story to youI wasn't alluding that we're on the same level as God. Rather that I would've expected God to be an example of how we should carry ourselves, as we should be on God's path right? Hence, we're created in his image and we should live our lives on his path, therefore if he kills first borns.....
I am a ive unlocked many achievements on games for god like funnily enough one is for a kill countI wasn't alluding that we're on the same level as God.
No question is still valid, there are plenty of people who base their morals on what's written in the bible. Again, God killing the first born of Egypt has nothing to do with me, as I don't base my morality on the bible. So if the bible has not been inspired by God, then it is merely a book just like other books. If so, then God didn't kill all the first born Egyptians. So your question is invalid.
And you can avoid the question as much as you want but this still does not deter that the bible is a moral guideline for you. That you choose to believe in the words in the bible, that they are from a supreme being in God, and that this God sets the outlines of morality for those that believe in the bible.I don't base my opinion of abortion on the bible or my faith. Even if I wasn't a Christian I would still think abortion is wrong. You are now making assumptions. You do know there are many non-Christians and people of no faith that also believe abortion is wrong, right? Not just Christians.
