Do you think the opposition quakes in their boots at the thought of facing those 3? I really don't think they would even read the tip sheets on them. That's the problem. We invested way too much money on blokes who aren't game breakers. Yes they do a job but we can't build a premiership team on those blokes.
No I don’t, BUT these are the guys who I believe we should build the club around.

Would you be happy to offload them?

Why not?

They cost nothing
True
But we are not going to go out and buy that team.
People here keep saying we are a "strong club"
We are a financially strong club..
But everything else that matters we are currently a basket case.
We have to pay overs to get big names to the club.
Not that long ago players wanted to come to Canterbury..
I agree with what some else said, circle the wagons, sign young up & comers, invest in the junior program and try and get the most out of the players we have, our roster isn't that bad!
We have to get rid of the uncertainty in our playing group. Uncertainty kills productivity in the work place and it kills confidence and cohesion in a football club.

i believe Barba has another year in England. Why not let some of our overpaid players go if clubs are interested like moses and woods. Sign barba as fullback and blood some young players. Have to be better than how we are travelling now and whats ahead for us. Still exiting to watch. Lets build up our team and get away from the crap we have give pay a clean fresh start.

Isnt he signed up for a few years, so we'd have to compensate them?

Looks like May 2017 he signed up for 2 1/2 years (so end of 2019 his contract ends).

By then he'll be close to 30.

thats true, signing rosie o donnell is a worse idea

there is a reason that no nrl club wants barba and the rugby union club got rid of him after a week
I haven’t heard of any dramas with him since Cronulla. If he hasn’t learnt by now he will never learn. But apparently his killing it over there must be doing something right

If he was available my money would be on several NRL clubs wanting him
