Kiks looked gassed in the first half
What is with his line running at the moment? Pretty much every time he got the ball last night he did that big telegraphed left foot step back into the defensive line that’s coming across in cover and he got shut down. The only time he went the other way he got past DCE and got a great offload to Xerri. He made his name with edge line running at Penrith, it does my head in that he doesn’t do that every time.

Noticed the Dolphins had someone up in the line trying to cut off Toby Sextons passing on left shifts. Led to the Averillo intercept try.

DCE was out of the line on every single shift, we got passed it maybe twice for tries but every other time it felt like it threw us out completely.

Will be interesting to see how Cows play it.

Our attack looked good. Could of scored another 2 or 3 trys. Our defence let us down

Last two tries mean nothing like u said. Its nice the team kept trying, that means they respect coach i guess. Yet how easy is it when the pressure is off. Anyone can throw it around once games over
It wasn't that long ago that we'd give up and get blown off the park. Those last two tries, and the final minute effort shows real pride in the jersey.

Watching the Kiks no try again this morning, olakuatu follows xerri once he was through the line and literally pushes him…that has to be the most minimal obstruction awarded this year. Further convinced the refs were making sure they wouldn’t be slaughtered in the media this week for ‘favouring’ us

The problem is Kikau was trying too hard to create something out of nothing because of Salmon. Salmon doesn't hold up the defensive line because he is not a threat so Kikau has to beat his defender and the inside defender every single time.

The service that Mann gives is night and day to what Salmon gave last night. Mann is a threat in the middle and digs into the line. Salmon does what Hutchinson did by passing 3 metres before the line. He even did a fake to kick moves that wouldn't deceive a 8yo...It's going to be another tough watch if Salmon plays close to 80 minutes...

I hate losing. Especially on a Friday. Been in a good football mood for 5 weeks, now I’m depressed again lol
Nahhh whyy?

We lost the game, wow, shock. We played a team who played their finals game, through the bank at us, gassed out in the end, we could have easy if we played to our potential and on top lost their best players in the process. Manly played their final last night, i call insignificant now.

I have been calling for a loss, We needed a loss and a rest, the reality check before finals to find another gear.

We can win 5 straight, 5 weeks left in season.

We lost off the back of travelling for 5 weeks including 4 interstate, international games and we faulter when we play at home like we were happy to fall onto our bed. Pfffttt... We had our sleep, jet lag over, we bounce back.

I reckon this is our making!
