OFFICIAL | PRE-GAME Rd 26 | vs Manly | 6pm Friday @ Accor

We looked off the pace from the first set. I think we barely made 30 metres until we got the penalty.

The fact that we scored off that penalty probably masked how much we struggled.
I think this "new found" attack has made us sloppy. Not that it's great, but the focus and attention on attack and looking for the easy option looks to have started leaking into our defensive mindset.

Fox League come on geez.

I wish that happened 5 mins into the game. Could of been different.
.. the little bitch played the ball 1 metre off the mark..

To be fair it was cringe some of the boys mid week interview particularly when they said they were embracing the hype and Max saying Ciro will be one of the best ever clubs signings and Critta future immortal…granted he was prob baited into those answers with leading questions but still, time for talk is over we need to just concentrate on the finals and give them nothing to write about ..stock standard cliche answers until the season is officially over

Like Kobe Bryant famously said “Job not finished “

When he did that I said fuck off kikau, it's too late, you should have been doing that earlier in the gamd
My biggest hate with these hits is he shouldn't be getting up after DCE... Might look good, but ineffective tackle imo.

There is a fair bit of over statement that the facts don't support, we made more run metres and more metres per set.;

Where the facts say the problems were. shithouse completions, snail pace slow play the ball and abysmal kick defusals ;

Even with a superior effective tackle % it's very hard to win a game when you have to make 363 tackles to the opposition's 294.

It's not like we didn't have enough possession;

I think too many people listen to the biased commentators during the game that were dribbling on endlessly about Manly's power game. For sure it was good, but not that farkin good.

After having watched the game live and then a couple of replays, my view, FWIW, is that we slackened off in defence badly after we scored the first try. The first 20 minutes was so not typical of our defence, conceded 3 tries and never really recovered from it.

I truly believe that if the Kikau try had been awarded we would have gone on to win that game, it just stopped our fight back stone cold.

100% forwards had nothing to do with it, weak / lazy efforts off the ball and around marker was the downfall in the first half. Not expecting half arsed effort this week
