OFFICIAL | PRE-GAME Rd 26 | vs Manly | 6pm Friday @ Accor

Home game for us, and Manly weren't all that good against the Tigers. They will want to improve on that, and we're without Critta.
I'm never confident before a game, and we can afford a loss, but a win would be fantastic.

Weather fine, good track a 4 or even a 3 with 31 predicted on Friday.
*Watch Turbo
*Play for each other as per our team mantra and we will be victorious and seal 5th spot at the very least and which is preferable to 4th imo anyway.

I hope the club take the same approach as they did against the Dolphins. We can easily out grind Manly, just need to contain Turbo and not let DCE have it easy, if Kikau and Mahoney can pressure him our kicking game / field position should be enough

Manly's game against Tigers was unusual with ref intervention, sin bins, etc. Can't read too much into the loss.

They've been very good the second half of the season.

Yes there were several reasons Manly lost against the Tigers which made them look a lot worse than they were. Manly’s style of less structure than most teams. Is a style we struggle with. When teams play unstructured footy. Our system gets confused.

Also not having Crichton, I can see troubles on our edges. We looked a bit shaky on the edges against a Warriors team missing both starting centres.

I am hoping we can jag a win this week. Depending on other results the last game against the Cowboys might not be relevant to where we finish. Potentially giving players who have niggles a weeks rest.

Dogs will win this one, we haven't lost a home game this season!

Big game.. If we win we lock in 5th.. Which would mean i would say Cowboys would rest players next week. As they couldnt finish higher than 5th or lower than 6th. If they beat a storm NSW cup this week that is lol

Please believe in the system we've been building Never say Die Bulldogs

I don't see manly as too big of a threat as their defence is horrible, their main attacking weapons seem to be the following:
  • Fluky and random kick chases leading to odd tries,
  • Broken play with a 50% chance of a fluky and random kick,
  • Last pass to turbo for a random try,
  • DCE crying to the referee to help them out.
I see our defence being something manly will struggle with because they will get frustrated when the fluky and random plays aren't given the time or space they require to transpire, we still need to be on our toes to hold them out.

It also seems the referees have finally had enough of dce and his constant whinging/complaining to them all year lol...

A big blue and white crowd plus the feel good stories on a game being this big at a 6PM time slot, the passion, the rise from the ashes and etc should probably also help

Also hoping for a blown turbo and dce meltdown lmao
