OFFICIAL | PRE-GAME Rd 26 | vs Manly | 6pm Friday @ Accor

Lodge slow and fat. Think our edge will do very well.

Klein will butcher this game. Games have no momentum when hes the ref, its a stop start penalty a thon. Ball in play is what the game needs and he cant do that for some reason. With critta gone captains challenge is crucial, who in charge this week for us??

I agree also bro but what is confusing is how Paseka and Ola were able to get off with same incident if not worse with solely a fine?

And that’s where the real issues is the inconsistency in the rulings, if Critta gets binned I reckon he walks with a fine. The whole head contact thing is just a cluster fuck the NRL has created for itself.

Look at the Olakau'atu tackle and than Chricton and tell me again how Critta deserves a week
Olokoatu was lower to the ground and there was a clear wrapping action. You don't attempt to wrap in the tackle, they come down on you a lot harder. It's the way they've been policing it for years.

The judiciary has always been a bit of a lottery... but I don't think this is the great outrage you guys are making it out to be.

We've shown we can win and win well without Critta, and he gets a nice rest a few weeks out from the finals. It's not the end of the world.

Rts is the aggressor in that contact
Right. He tried to attack Critta's shoulder with his head. That's honestly just as silly as the argument that Critta was the aggressor during the Flano incident.

It wasn't malicious, but he didn't attempt to wrap in the tackle and made contact to the head. You make that mistake, you play the judiciary lottery. No biggie.

sure, but the onus should still be on the ball carrier to not duck there head and lose there feet. its impossible for a defender to change there tackling position once this has occurred......
That’s the issue the NRL created when they were binning players for hitting Tedesco in the head 4 inches from the ground. I am not saying it’s right but thats how the MRC will justify the week. I still think that if Critta was binned at the time he would have gotten a fine.

Manly will make errors, they always do. I feel if we play simple we get em. Last weeks first 20mins was horrible. Havent seen us drop that much ball for a long time.

Tbf the conditions over there were awful we played like shit and still won by a few tries

Hopefully the occasion of this game and crowd number win the refereeing dud duo lol

Oh the rez bloke that's half lebo? haha

We got this. Helta to be in beast mode and will be our secret weapon in the finals. I can feel it deep in my plumbs..

rts doesn't duck his head then contact wouldn't of been at his head
The thing is that the NRL have put the onus on the defender, that is to say if the attacking player for what ever reason lowers his head somewhat, you as the defender shouldn't have been cutting it fine where your shoulder or arm smacks him in the head with a small change in the attacking players position. Question is where do you draw the line? I think the idea is if you hit the player with your shoulder or arm, you're at fault. I guess they are trying to eliminate head knocks and that's not a bad thing.

Manly will be fresh. Played a day earlier than Dogs with no travel.

Dogs need to be on.

I get all that but it still needs to go both ways. it's ridiculous that the ball carrier is allowed to fend and use there elbows into the defenders throat and face with no sanction

Pffft, that's a standard barbie on a Saturday arvo at my house lol

Wheres the potatoes, wheres the corn and most importantly, where's the toum?
