Dogs paying 3.25 again seems high, especially if Brown and Moses end up dropping out.

Magistrate Theo Tsavdaridis agreed to adjourn the matter for three weeks.

Mr Brown was on Wednesday represented in court by solicitor David Newham and supported by Eels staff and his manager Gavin Orr.

“Mr Brown and I viewed the CCTV footage yesterday at the Bondi Police Station,” Mr Newham said outside court on Wednesday.

“It does not support the notion that on five separate occasions Mr Brown has approached this young woman and with both hands has touched both of her breasts. It does not support that at this point in time.”

Based on that my guess is he will play.

Interesting comment by the lawyer about the CCTV, leaves A LOT of unanswered questions. Does it mean it happened on 4 separate occasions? Did he use one hand? Is the CCTV footage likely to change, or why else would you say "at this point in time?".

Interesting thing to say, what they are saying is not that he didn't do it or that it's inconclusive they have challenged that he didn't use both hands on all 5 times.

I am making a huge assumption here in that possibly if only one hand they are challenging that it was intentional. So is this to get the count below 5 or challenging intent of all 5. Maybe they are trying to suggest Brown is just very uncoordinated and doesn't know what to do with his hands.

Sure coach :-).
Stop blaming referees and let’s improve as a team and the rest will take care of itself. Granted our injury toll hasn’t helped but I’m far more interested in finding a quality 7 than I am in complaining about a dud call.
Every man and his dog knows that a good 7 would at least get us into the 8, every man and his dog would also know that with a few good middles would very probably make us a top 4 side.
To answer you, many posters (not all) believe that we don't always get the rub of the green from the oficials.

I see a few are bagging Perham and while he's not the answer to who will be our long-term FB, that has already been fixed with the signing of Chrichton next year, from what I've seen Perham has improved the more he has played at FB.

At least he has a dig and did set up JAC beautifully for that try against the Rorters with a beautifully timed pass after drawing the defender. He's not going to win you a game like Chrichton can with individual brilliance but he's doing OK IMO.
You see imaginary improvement in Perham but can't see the improvement in Okunbor that'll do me

So what? If we’re Top 8 and definitely Top 4 no-one would care about the odd dodgy call and it would also put to bed the argument that the lower ranked teams get the rough end of the pineapple from the whistleblowers. So you’ve proved my point - become a better side and the ‘bias / cheating’ allegations go away. That’s what Gus and Ciro are working on and I back them, not armchair coaches bleating on a forum.

If injuries hadn't hampered him so much he would still be at Souths! He has always had lots of ability and is a very nice bloke but if he can't play week in week out then this all amounts to basically nought ....
How can you be so sure he’d still be at Souths? Hasn’t a good centre ever left a club?

In principle you are right, best case scenario is to become a better side and the bias / cheating goes away .. but when you look at it practically it’s a long road ahead before we become a better side …

90% of our squad are playing together for their first season, up against squads where 90% of their squads have been playing together for years ..

It takes some time to build cohesion trust and learn to play together as a tight unit, especially went your going through a bad luck injury crisis, and especially when you are blooding rookies …. every time a new player comes in e.g Crichton FB next season, there’s a weakness in the team for a while until everyone adjusts and falls into rhythm .. how’s it work when you have 4 5 6 changes ?

In the mean time every club should be able to rely on fair adjudicating from the referees.

Should we really be focused on trying to score a shit load of points so the ref can’t screw us over ?

Shouldn’t referees be impartial and it just be a case of refereeing every game fairly ?

As far as I’m concerned we should definitely have another 2 points from the Warriors last minute ridiculous obstruction call ..

And I’ll go as far as saying we probably should have walked away with the 2 points from that Rorters game … if we’d received the calls we should have received .. e.g Mahoney head shot should have been a 2 point penalty kick .. 3 week suspension to the perpetrator is proof of that !

Those 4 points should see us in 10th position with our foot on the 8 .. instead we’re 15th and now going to struggle to make the 8 .. not because we’re not a good team, but because we get screwed over ..

It shouldn’t be a matter of us needing to be a better side .. we should be allowed to have the time to get better while relying on impartial refereeing ..
