RFM will take his game to the next level and we will finally see if Mbye is a fullback or not
I’m hoping to see a different game from Mbye, I think Hasler was holding a lot of our players back, and most of the other teams will under estimate us! I also hope our ceo is not going to bend over backwards to the NRL! I want a ceo that’s going to back the players.

Its a shame as we had sooo much depth in the forwards before hasbeen arrived and now we are very thin with quality.

Pay needs time and hopefully he makes the right calls at the end of 2018 with a few players off contract eating up at the cap
We are hardly very thin in the forwards! You must be kidding mate?? Really?

If we have a pretty injury free season and Foran plays 20 plus games we will finish top 6. Roosters and Cowboys look a class above

I predict cows to win premiership. No idea how well we will go. Really like our pack, just wish we had a strike centre.

I think we'll definetely be in the 8 but don't feel we'll be top 4 next year. It will be great to see a better style of footy with passion next year.

2019 will be a good year as Pay will have some money to bring in a few players in key positions.

Need to get a premiership soon, its been far too long for a successful club like ours.

It doesnt really matter who has the "C" next to his name. The key person is the guy who calls the shots. And that guy will be Foran.
He and Cleeland will develop into a formidable combo.
I would nominate Woods as the Captain in front of Jackson.

Should be a fair bit of cap $ available with Moz Bros & Eastwood. Should be a year of heavy recruiting as we will need a new centre and winger along with a couple of quality backrowers.

Pay has inherited an old ageing team.

Cowboys look absolutely brilliant from 1-17

Expect the dragons to surprise a fair few people this year as the have recruited very well.

So what you are saying is that the dogs are a no good ageing team and play poorly in the 2018 season and the other 2 teams you have mentioned will be awesome in 2018.
This is a Bulldogs Forum, not a Cowboys / Dragons Forum! which team do you actually support?,,,,,,,Bulldogs, Cowboys or the Dragons??:smirk:

Why? why is it your displeasure if KF is selected as the Captain or at least one of the co-catains if thats the way they decide to go?? and stop fucking YELLING FFS!! :tonguewink:
It's fairly obvious why Foran shouldn't even be considered for the role, seriously have no idea how anyone could think otherwise.

Agree with your sentiments about the Cowboys and Dragons. However, I would hardly call Canterbury an ageing team. You take out the two Morris boys, Eastwood and Tolman and we don’t have a single player over 26 (correct me if I’m wrong).

Pay & Foran (if he gets back into his manly form) should see us move north of our 2017 finish but Pay has inherited a Des roster and I cant see juniors that have me salivating. Just looking at rosters and coaches and segregating them into quadrants;

Top 4 : Cows Storm Roosters Panthers
5-8 : Raiders Dogs sharks manly
9-12 Rabbits dragons eels Broncos
13-16 Knights Titans Wests Warriors

We will improve on the back of our defence remaining the same and our attack picking up...it all hinges on Foran in my opinion.

I think we will have a tough start to the season but show signs of promise.
We really need a lot of things to go right to make the eight with the spine being the biggest problem.
- Mbye has all the tools to be a very good fullback but he's yet to play a single NRL game there, I think its 50/50 if he succeeds there.
- Foran is saying all the right things lets see if he walks the talk, I think he will so thats one spine problem solved.
- Foran's half partner along with Mbye will determine our season for mine. I would love for Cleeland to get a shot but he is an unknown quantity he might kill it or he might not. Frawley shouldn't even be mentioned.
- Lichaa has had 3 games where he looked like a NRL hooker let's not get carried away. It was great that he finally showed what he is capable of but can he provide that week in week out? I'm quietly confident he will have a good season.

Our backline is ok and nothing spectacular it does lack a bit of pace and depth is a big problem. The Morris's will be vital will they look even older then last year or will a full preseason give them a new lease on life?

The pack is strong and for the love of god please have Klem and Woods as starting props!! We will go close to having the best go forward in the comp.

In my opinion we will be recover from a slow start, be pushing hard for a top 8 finish and with a bit of luck get there.

Lichaa has been great in the WC as well.

5th minimum, higher if the old Foran is back and stays on the field.

Just thought I'd start a thread for all those who think they've got a sixth sense . It can either improve your future standing as a credible poster or ruin it depending on the outcome..

Anyhow I'm feeling a bit uneasy about next season because I can't get reading on our new team, New coach, new CEO..

It's making me uneasy , I'm feeling negative about our upcoming season.

Maybe it's just where I'm at atm.

But for starters we have no natural charismatic captain which I think makes or breaks any team.

Lots of people think JJ should be the captain but I think JJ 's skills and strengths will be severely compromised if he has to endure such a role., much like Graham's was.

Graham however will become a beast again at St George. (my prediction)

Sorry for the disjointed thread but that's pretty much how I feel about the season..

Does anyone dare to predict anything about 2018?
How's everyone doin? Lol.. Not too far off with my predictions so far..
