I don't buy that.
We had our full squad to select from in the last 6 or so rounds and got worse with each game. Season couldn't end soon enough.

Usually I don't get my hopes up for the season ahead unless I can see something in the lead up or trials.

But I'm fucking petrified for next year.
We gave up by then, nothing went our way all year.
But I get it .hopefully the tied will turn for us.

That's what really disappoints me.
In previous years, with a lesser roster, we'd finish the year strong and give us fans something to look forward to the next year.

We had a number of players playing for their futures, our full squad to pick from, and easy draw to finish the season, yet we stumbled our way and were lucky we had the Dragons and Tigers save our arses from the spoon.

We should have got it this year, we won more games than the tigers and saints . Yes our losses were bigger but we won more games so no we left 2 or 3 wins on the table as well.
One could argue that if we played Dragons and Tigers twice we could have got the spoon. However we could have skipped further ahead also. I'd say given our injuries, tigers deserved it more than us.

What will be interesting is whether the Tigers and Dragons can overtake us in the improvement stakes.

Sure we might improve abit next year, but if they improve more, we will find ourselves in last place unless some other team has a disastrous season.

No need to play the season then.. The computer already told us who will win. They never get predictions wrong..

I think Drag-queens implode with their first year takes a bit with a guy like Flanagan to heel the personalities over there. Ciro made some big choices but getting guys with egos like our squad had last year needed immeadiate action. I think we improve nicely this year, our injury tolls won’t impact us like last year with plenty of redundancy added to the side, maybe another forward/middle.

Article says Penrith missed out on him.
So it was Tom Eisenhuth from the Storm going to Dragons.

I quickly browsed the Dragon forum and there are people blowing up about Flange Snr as coach.

One of the posts on Flange Snr's interview was spoken about with frustration on the Dragon forum:

"disgraceful"
"he said there is no pressure on Kyle because Hunt is there to handle that"
"Kyle will start at 5/8"
"Dogs had no interest in re-signing Kyle, instead they snapped up one of our old boys Hutchison"

I can't see how Titans finish outside the 8. Hasler will have an immediate impact with that roster.
