"doesn’t take into account team changes"

Makes it useless.

Maybe, but Crichton, Xerri and Curran aren't enough to push us up much higher (the rest bench/depth signings). We could easily get wooden spoon next year. We should of got it this year.

The man in the photo will be a huge reason we possibly get the spoon.

Why we should have got it this year?
How about the 3 games that we got robbed?
We could’ve been in the top 8 by round 18.
To me, eye test wise, we were the worst team this year. Almost all of our wins had asterisks next to them (I even said this after our start to the year and look where/how we finished). From the wins we did get there weren't many "good wins". We also had the worst F/A if you want to use stats.

Yes we had the worst F/A but you’re not seeing that we had an injury toll, plus we started the year with 3 wins from 5 games.
Went downhill after every week we had to blood a rookie.

That's the roster we decided to go into the season with (same with next year where I'm sure the same excuses will pop up) and every team has injuries. I don't really care about the excuses and could of's. We need to be and do much better.

100% but my point is we had to many injuries all at once and we had to blood 7 rookies .
It’s hard to play footy with an inexperienced team.

It doesn't help with the coach stuffing up his pre season, round 1 team selections and future round team selections too. E.g. Perham at fullback ever.

Also worth keeping in mind that we used 35 players last season, the most of any club. We had to go cap in hand to the NRL and ask for exemptions to play players outside the Top 30 on several occasions.

Which is one of the reasons why it's Top 38 (max) next season.

Perham was the biggest blunder.

I haven't seen the rule changes allowing 38. But it's definitely needed. I still dislike that they changed things to a system where you need to nominate your development players ahead of the year. You can't predict who will come on in leaps and bounds. I know that round 11 is the end of that, but if someone outside the development list starts the year on fire they're excluded from early season opportunity.

We're due some luck with the roster though. I don't even hope for luck with refereeing.

We should have got it this year, we won more games than the tigers and saints . Yes our losses were bigger but we won more games so no we left 2 or 3 wins on the table as well.

I don't buy that.
We had our full squad to select from in the last 6 or so rounds and got worse with each game. Season couldn't end soon enough.

Usually I don't get my hopes up for the season ahead unless I can see something in the lead up or trials.

But I'm fucking petrified for next year.
