Avo and Creedence have a big offseason under Ciraldo and see who comes out on top. I still think Avo has a couple more levels in him.
Having a fully fit RFM and Kikau, TPJ with Mahoneys crisper service will be good for Avo I believe.
Need someone to help out Burton in the Halves. We have no direction and that’s as clear as day.
I think Creedence will surprise plenty if given the opportunity in the NRL. His support play and ball playing as a FB is better than Avo’s (imo), Avo has the edge in speed and experience. They’re both on par under the high ball…

It’ll be interesting to see what they do with Creedence in 2023. I think the Club sees Declan as a potential #1 also - Its really up to Avo for next year, he can’t rely on his show and go… he needs the ability to set up tries as a FB.

They all need more specialised positional coaching. Intensive specialised coaching.

Our players just aren't progressing at the required rate of improvement. Been like that for years. It's one thing that could help if the head coach is sub par.

Hastings and Laurie would be a huge improvement on Avo and Flanno, but it still wouldn't solve our problem. We'd still have too much money wrapped up in a couple of payers who aren't the long term answer, even though they'd be an improvement.

i remember vaguely he signed a contract till 2025?
Smart move by the tits
Maybe not a smart move by them.

Riccio revealed Campbell has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave in 2023 if he strikes a deal with an NRL rival and there are a number of Sydney clubs interested.

If im sounding out anyone it would be DCE. Rumblings are that things are on a knifes edge there. Id take him for the rest of his contract. He has 2-3 years left on his contract and that will be for a motza but if we can some how sweeten a deal, throw in an averillo or a patolo or what ever. We will fast track our success. Manly will probably be up for covering 100k-200k and at a million a season he would be great value.

Most likely the Dolphin will come in and take him at sticker price if he is moved, but his boot, his game control are up there with the best in the comp. I think he had something like 20-25 repeat sets this year, 19 try assists, scored a few himself and was kicking an average of around 400m-500m per game. Image the dual threat coming out of your own end with the bombing ability of Burton with the long kicking range of Daly (40/20 threat etc).

It will never happen, but if we are going to dream might aswell dream of this instead of Hastings, Sullivan or Brooks which wont swing the needle to success much if at all.
I can't see DCE leaving. He loves the big money and has already shown he won't run from a team just because other senior players don't like him.

Look at Nick Meaney playing in the starting line up almost all season for the Storm.

So you want half the spine of a team that came dead last? That will do me, I’m outta here till March.
Sorry but if you think you can source a HB or FB from a team above us on safe money then you should not even come back in March.
