As far as it goes Ciraldo seems very loyal to the 17 in place. Regardless of lower grade form, he's displayed a pick and stick attitude with pretty much everyone bar Flanagan. If he carries this attitude through the offseason it'll be reliant on injury for other players to break into the 17.

I assume that our highest profile recruits won't face that struggle, but putting in a great pre season will be the goal for anyone who's facing quality competition for spots.

With eight centres on the books some will find their way in the second row and on the bench.

Who knows what is really going on behind the scenes

If that scenario was to play out, I'd take it

I still don't count out the scenario that Xerri and Chrichton end up as our centres with Wilson at fullback. I think Wilson could really turn into something special
I’d like this to be our centre pairing which will give us strike on both sides plus good defence. I don’t get all the love for Averillo who only shows something against the weaker teams and misses way to many tackles.

Big call but as a speculator I'll go,
Xerri and Kiraz, with Wilson onto Jacobs wing.
Critta at the back.
Kiraz is a specialist winger and not a centre. Just like Cotric who we tried to convert into a centre which was an epic fail.

Err NO he isn't probably better suited in the centres as he isn't super quick(Wilson is)and has very good tackle busting ability..he can also play fullback so he is no way just a "specialist winger".
Poor bloke isnt 100% fit atm which is unfortunate.

Kautogo was terrific yesterday, ran great lines, hit holes at speed and showed good footwork and pace to beat their centre 1v1 numerous times. Also looks solid enough with a lowish centre of gravity so could handle to middle for sure
