The others mentioned all reported in for training whilst Napa didnt. He also has prior history which people forget with his conduct with the sex tape porn. Let him have his day in court to follow process. Ka Kite Dylan..

How mate? A fair chance at what? You do realise that there is no special dispensation just because you receive a marquee salary... the guy skipped out on training its a text book example of why you should be stood down not the other way around.
Ok you have your view. Good luck to you when dealing with dismisding people.

A fair chance at explaining his actions. Fair chance of keeping his employment. If an employer denies these rights there is cpurse for unfair dismissal claims.
We all saw what happened with Des. Not to mentiob Okonvur and CHN. As examples.

The reality is. The club is better to take time and follow due course. Ensuring the right decisions are made.
Rather than reacting emotionally and getting Bitten in the Arse.

I really cant make it much clearer for you.

Was that reeeally a thing?
Was it confirmed?

If so.....OMG another monumental blunder that didn't work out for us. They just keep coming.

He can piss off, like a lot of these players, don’t deserve to be bulldogs, the greatest club in history, wether or not we are winning or losing, only want genuine players wearing our colours.!!!

Somebody book an Uber and get this flog out of Belmore. The dumb look on his face proves he doesn't give a shit about the club or fans.

I have lost a lot of faith in Baz for picking him at all, when he doesn't offer anything. As there are no lower grade matched just let him sit in Bondi. Hate this fn joke of a player

The five Bulldogs players that broke COVID protocols to attend a Bondi pub will appear before the club's board next week.

The ‘Bondi Five’ – of Dylan Napa, Brandon Wakeham, Corey Waddell, Sione Katoa and Aaron Schoupp – have already been fined, but further penalties are set to be discussed at the meeting.

While the group attended the venue together, it has since been revealed that Napa failed to attend a training session the next day while the other four appeared.

As a result, SEN host Andrew Voss asked The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio if he could make an argument as to why Napa shouldn’t be sacked.

“I will single out a player, I’ll isolate Dylan Napa on the drinking session,” Voss said on SEN 1170 Breakfast.

“I don’t care if players drink in their private lives, I couldn’t care less, as long as they meet their commitments – well Dylan Napa didn’t.

“The team’s coming last, he’s one of their highest paid players, he’s a State of Origin player, he’s a previous Grand Final winner, and he doesn’t make it to training after a session on the drink with the team running last.

“Can you give me an argument as to why he shouldn’t be punted?”

“It’s ordinary, I can’t give you an argument,” Riccio replied.

“I can only give you a factual basis on how a player’s contract is terminated.

“It needs to be followed by three breach notices. I understand Dylan Napa isn’t at that stage yet.

“I would think he’s on at least two given his past indiscretions at the Bulldogs.

“He has been asked - along with the ‘Bondi Five’ as they are being called - to front the Bulldogs board to explain why they shouldn’t be served with a further penalty of a potential fine and suspension.

“I don’t think contracts are being discussed as far as being terminated at this point in time.

“But I understand where you’re coming from, it’s ordinary, it’s ridiculous.”

********If not trying was a breach notice offence he would have been gone long ago. I know players are only human but honestly when you are well paid to do a job and abide by the employer's rules it isn't hard..........

Can it be one breach notice for the covid violation and another breach notice for not attending training - was he issued one previously?

If he can't be booted without paying his contract out (even that I wouldn't mind tbh), then perhaps they can tell him that he will be in reggies for the rest of the year. I wouldn't want to poison the reggies but with his contract up and no chance to play for a new one (at another club) in FG then perhaps he might seek a mid year transfer?

A poor panic signing that has turned even further stale and is poisoning anything we want to do moving forward. Some form of example needs to be made to the playing group and potential new players on who we want to be. Napa needs to be made an example of! Just like Elliott should have been.

I would go further.
Make him train the house down full commitment no short cuts extra work but Dont select him in either team. He would soon walk
