Had a look at a preview clip and something really put me off. The film is in a terrible aspect ratio. It has black bars on the left and right of the screen basically making the image almost as wide as it is high. Like the old 4:3 aspect ratio but not as wide.

Even just watching a preview clip was unwatchable for me. That said, I was watching it on an ultrawide monitor so maybe it'll be less annoying on TV.

If you've watched this trailer, the whole movie is in this aspect ratio. It's technically showing more image as it shows bottom and top that were originally recorded then cut out in the widescreen Justice League, but it's really off-putting.

It's off-putting as fuck, especially if i gotta watch it like that for 4 hrs. I'm still going to give the movie a go when I have a spare 4 hrs, but it'll be interesting to see if I last it out. Hopefully I can though.

Yeah, I liked Wonder Woman 1, but it was pretty much on par with some of the worst Marvel movies. It was good, but only good in comparison to other DC movies.

Man of Steel was better though. So was Aquaman.

I think most superhero movies these days are sub-par, if not terrible. A shame, because it's a genre I like.

I remember watching Wonder Woman 1984 and thinking, "this isn't terrible. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. It's dragging on a bit but not terrible"

Then it just degraded. It slowly got worse and worse until.....

The bloody flying thing. "just feel the wind under you". Hey look, I can fly now.

And don't get me started on the fact that every single person in the world retracted their wish because she asked them too.

It's like the writers just switched off and said, "screw it. Just give the script to the homeschooled 12 year old. She'll figure it out"

I really hope some writer got shot for that stuff.

I'm hoping James Gunn saves Suicide Squad with the new movie. The guy knows how to make movies so I have faith. Guardians of the Galaxy was one of my favourites. Plus, his PG Porn stuff is hilarious.

Such a dumb change they made him do. I don’t know if you remember but the first few trailers were very dark in tone, but Warner rushed to change it because critics were scared from a very dark Batman and superman movie
