Broncos heavyweight Payne Haas and father Gregor have spoken out about the tragic loss of Haas' brother Chace in 2020. He now lies in a golden mausoleum at the family's property.

So his brother became a quadraplegic after his mother was in a car accident whilst pregnant with Payne. He was named Payne Lucky Haas as a result.

In 2019 was the accident and in 2020 Chace passed away. In 2022 the family finally spoke about his passing.

But you wonder where it's gone so wrong for the mother (of 9 kids). NRL.COM has a story about the family as well, saying they didn't come from much, but it doesn't explain why the mother in recent times has been a loose unit, even dating back to assaults in 2013.
