News Mid Air plane crash in the US

apparently there were 3 army soldiers in the helicopter
 
Am I the only one thinking the military guys may have done it deliberately?

We just had another military guy blow up a Tesla. This is in DC.

Would have laughed at this 6 months ago. Now?? Who knows....

Horrible event. They immediately ruled out terrorism and said it was an accident, but investigations will be going on for a while.

There was an initial report that 4 people had been rescued from the harbour, but that was later reported to be false and so far they have not reported any survivors. The river is about 1 degree C right now so if they haven't found survivors yet, they probably won't.
 
US President Donald Trump, who has been briefed on the crash, has taken to his platform Truth Social to speak about the incident.

The president said it was a "clear night" and asked why the helicopter did not see the approaching plane.

"Why didn't the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane," Trump wrote.

"This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!"

You are wrong my man. Its not thoughtless at all. It plays to his constituents and like most pollies - gets attention focussed away on what should be an obvious question. Did the firing of a whole range of aviation safety commitees plus spending cuts contribute. Usually the narrative is always who to blame and the above create an obvious target. Not anymore - its air traffics fault.

You are judging this by your own moral standards. And this is the mistake everyone makes. Cannot fight against something you do not understand.

Comms is all about initiative in creating the narrative. And thats the issue with FLAFOTUS (and in some respects brilliant). Your morals do not allow you to take advantage of a tragedy. He doesn't care and grabs the initiative. And once you have that on repeat via socials etc., almost impossible to grab it back. So you play a lame game of catchup.

Played exactly the same game in Cali. Rinse wash repeat. Very hard to fight anyone on anything when they have no bottom line.
