Do you honestly think the team does nothing all week?? Of course there is a plan. Of course there is no exact moment planned for interchanges to be made, it depends on how the game is panning out.
The reporter is simply taking what lichaa has said and has moulded it to fit what he wants to write.

Exactly ... last week was the straw that broke the camels back in my opinion. Two passes not even close to another player.

I don't know if it's confidence, or an overstated and overexaggerated sense of ability, but he needs to go to NSW CUP.

If he can't absolutely fire there (any first grade hooker should tear up in NSW CUP), then he needs to find another club and isn't going to get better.

doesn't need to be the fullback. Any player that is willing to hit a hole will play to his strengths

Anyone remember the try he set up last year (might be the year before) when he passed to a player close to the line and they scored? That's the style he likes to play

In the juniors and liked to get out of dummy half and ball play. People have talked him up cause he has taken more runs out of dummy half this year. But taking a dummy half run from the halfway line is just pointless and not his strength.

To answer your question unless des changes the structure close to the line with decoys and guys hitting holes then yes he is the wrong fit. All you guys need from a hooker is a bloke who tackles and passes straight away to the halves cause that is what des wants and the structure he has implemented

Notice when the bulldogs attack everyone is waiting behind the halves every play to see what they will do. You need decoys which creates options for your hooker to either hit the guy short or go out the back to the halves
