This incident certainly raises some questions about what type of leaders we have in the club. Jacko certainly seems like a wholesome genuine good bloke so I’m not questioning him but Elliott is often the second player mentioned when leaders of the playing group is discussed.

Looking at our roster it is very young and it’s going to be a massive burden if Jacko is left holding the can trying to lead the rest of the squad. We are going to need players to step up and fill the void left my Elliott because there is no way he can remain in the leadership group now.

Thompson, DWZ, Hoppa and RFM are probably the likely candidates but DWZ, Hoppa and RFM all seem to be very reserved characters and I haven’t seen enough of Thompson to know if he has it in him yet.

Yeah that’s true even Jacko is fairly reserved. It’s going to be a big issue for us moving forward I think.
