If the figures are accurate one assumption may be that they are still waiting for the full axe to fall? The other is that it was too late for some, hell I was close.

I for one am more excited right now for the new season than perhaps in 5 seasons or so......change has happened.

That being said I feel as if I just have witnessed something that we see every election time for the prime ministership in Australia politics. Change good or bad didn't occurred until an election was looming and Australian people can see straight through that shite thanks again to out political system. An element of people might still require changes at the board level to be brought back into the fold?

Some may be waiting until they see what our new team can do, the club and team have to earn back their support because of the hurt they caused?

This has less to do with our club and more to do with the NRL! The officiating, stadium prices, times of the games played and the quality, are not exactly something fans are impressed with!!!
Yes good point too!

I renewed mine only after Pay was appointed and heard that Mbye would be put at fullback, it showed me that Pay wasn’t gonna play the safe game and play Hoppacunt at the back. Originally I was gonna wait until after the board selection to see how won but after I gave it some thought and realized that I don’t support either board there was no point in waiting.

The Dib side can fuck themseleves due to fucking us up so bad over the past few seasons and the rival ticket just sounds like a few ex players that have a personal issue with Dib and not actually for the benefit of the club.

Our club has been in decline for years now, I've mentioned this in another thread.

A number or male and female supporters I have bumped into over the last 10 years or so haven't been to a game in over 10 years and a lot don't even watch the game anymore.

I'm sure in the early 2000's are crowds were bigger then what they are now.

Look some might say they aren't real supporters and maybe your right but we still need them at the games.
It takes it toll on anyone.

The fraud was not concerned with anyone's thoughts or how fans felt over the style of footy he had the boys playin, yet he made promises through his time as the head coach that things will evolve (we ALL fell for it inc dib) but never delivered and continued to show the type of human that he portrayed himself to be, yetttt people blame Ray dib solely for our demise.
When and not if, the crowds start packing the stadiums it will not only be because the fraud is gone it's because the joint has been put back in order slowly but surely.
Time will only tell if the foundations are solid aswel, im confident it will be.

All membrship's are down across the Game...
Can fix that fuck video play back fuck the bunker fuck the kfc chicken 1 ref 2 touchies play to the whistle= fast free flowing footy.
Can go a bit deeper with scraping the no punch rule fuck footy was never full of fights anyway and bring back the shoulder charge.
3 seconds of mma is more violent than a game of footy and watched by millions. A few biffs in footy are bound to happen being a full contact sport stiff shit .
They are trying way to hard .leagues a simple game keep it simple

Actually, memberships are up across the board based on the same time last year. It's only some clubs that are down and we are one of them

Yeah
I thought we would have improved given the changes

But let's be honest, the fans really turned on the club like I have never seen in 40 years following the dogs.

It's an all time low

Some fans are gone forever

Club has some making up to do that's for sure
I think the club has just about done as much as they can in terms of getting back our culture and DNA. The next step is to rid the board of Dib and co. Hopefully that will result in some more fans coming back.

Baby steps.

I think we lost a lot more during the SL war.

That and once the season starts
If the team is playing better fans will also come back

I hope the club has learnt it's lesson here

No quick fix

I wouldn't read too much into the figures. We passed the 10,000 mark before Xmas and according to League Unlimited (where the article gets its info from and is unofficial) our numbers over a month later are still only 10,000. I suspect we are close to where we were last year and there is still a bit of a pre season rush to come yet I think.

Exactly what I would expect. There will be a resurgence over the next 6 weeks. I think if the numbers don't move by 1/3/18, they should be concerned

But those figures are 6 weeks old for the dogs and are not official - no doubt the same for the other clubs as well. I think we will have as many if not more than last year as members by the time we get to about round 4.

Yeah I think you're right. Once the Board stuff is resolved, the focus will return to the season and our team.
I'm sure we will be complaining about not having a reliable goal kicker in a few weeks

Current Bulldogs season membership down 22%, this is after appointing new Coach and major new signings.

Surely this is then reflected in the upcoming Boardroom vote.. #NRL #Bulldogs

Hmm... I know its early but Hasler and the old board has jammed us good...

Your thoughts guys?
What a disaster for our once great club!!!!!!@

That is over 1/5 th reduction in membership if that is correct. It could be another media conspiracy vs the Dogs. Imagine if your boss lost 22 per cent of his/her business or if you own a business you lost 22 per cent of your customers. Another black eye!!. Far out bulldogs' snout!!! Time for revolution on 11th Feb. I am not a votung member but if you are, please do the right thing for the future of our club. That Reform Ticket must be voted in 100 per cent.

They give away thousands of them with the "souths cares" charity money they get from the Charity shield. Give them to kids from the far west who never come to a game but make their numbers look good.
