Meaney possesses speed, usually he’s safe under the ball, but that’s about it. How many times did he go looking for the offload in the middle of the ruck the past few weeks? Meaney hates contact too….he’s way too soft! He’s not the worst player in the team at all, but he won’t be any great loss if he does go

Suggest you go back and watch a few games, Meaney has been looking for offloads a number of times in each game when he was fullback. But even the best get sick of running and timing for an offload that never comes.

So your logic suggests we move on practically the whole side. Well, if that's your view about Meaney, fine - but a thread should be initiated that suggests no-one has stepped up and everyone should be moved on or not re-signed.
There has to be a balance in argument and some consistency in approach.

That would suggest to me we're not overpaying for Meaney and we offered less than what he is currently on
