Yup, won’t be coming This year.. panthers will stand strong here and not let him go early.
So they should. And he should want to stay. Lest. From a good winning team all year instead of coming to a team of clowns who couldn’t win a 1 man race!

Laugh if you like. The bloke will do very little in a Canterbury jersey. There’s nothing special athletically about him.
IMO, the fact that his playing so well in a foreign position in both attack and defence shows rare versatility and how athletic he is. Not many specialist halves can play well as a centre

In every game that Burton has been given a opportunity to play in this season he has left people in awe of his skill and talent. Guys like Fittler and Johns were left singing his praises and even as opposition fans we couldn’t get enough of him. Enough said.

He's very versatile, he could play every position bar prop.

Because Thurston/Johns/Cronk/Cam Smith etc were all athletic freaks? Give me a half that's the complete package over an athlete with no footy brain like Milford any day of the week.

By the way, Burton is a good athlete, especially for his size. He has better acceleration and a fend than people realise. Plus he's creative, has vision and is a real footballer. Just be happy we've signed him and I'm sure you'll change your tune when you see him playing for us week in, week out..

Also laughable to cite the above named legends in relation to a half-cum-utility-cum-centre that Penrith couldn’t really care to keep.

Sounds like the Burton Jizz Train.

No, I'm just saying the greats of the game didn't rely on athleticism at all and it's their footy IQ, skill and vision which made them who they are.

Burton has all of those traits and while I'm not saying he'll be an immortal or get close to those players, I'm very confident he'll be an Origin half in his time with us.

I’m not confident of that at all. He does however offer more hope than Lachlan Lewis.
