Game is changing. A good solid 7 is not enough for the Bulldogs gameplan. They must present an attacking threat themselves on the right side ...if Burton is gonna stay stuck on the left side.

Also need a lock that can initiate the attack from the middle the same way Radley and Yeo do for their respective teams. I think Morrin can be that guy.

He needs to run the ball more, when he does he often breaks the line, or at least breaks through the line, which can lead to possibilities form those around him

Im with ya Wendog, Burto needs to stop anchoring himself to the left side. Go to the middle, sweep around to the right . . . . Do something to justify the expected money, rather than wait till the last tackle and kick

This is why Hastings is the best option.
He is a right sided specialist. As well as the dominant 7 we are lacking. Hastings is not a superstar. But adding him as just one player into our team would make a huge difference to the balance of our team.

Looks like he’s in the actual Australian squad for the World Cup?

Anyone else see NRL 360 yesterday? Mentioned that Burto is in Melbourne's sights as cover for Munster's potential departure.

Doubt Gus will let him go anywhere, but this could definitely drive his price up

I think they will get Dylan Brown.

Parra fan I used to work with, told me a month ago that Melbourne are keen on him.

Heard nothing anywhere about it elsewhere on any social media. Then last night on 360 it got a run when they mentioned Burton also.

Melbourne without Munster and Bellamy are meh. They'll be a fringe top 8 side at best. Only side I'd be worried about is the Rorters

Plus he'd have to live in that shithole known as Melbourne. Who in their right mind would move from the Shire to Melbourne if they didnt have to?

Any reason we haven't got the Burton thing done and announced by now
Could be as simple as Burto wants to talk to CC about what his vision and plan is before he commits and CC has been concentrating on the Panthers... Who knows what may have happened this week though as the Panthers have the week off. Announcement could be just days away, I have no inside knowledge just thinking logically.

Mention the Storm are interested & the price goes up.
Totally agree, however given the money they were putting aside to retain Munster if he should move on then they'll probably look at a top line half to fill the void.

Bellamy has always had a superstar spine and built around that core with journeymen and development players. Doubt the Melbourne system will change much if he sticks around as coaching Director.

The other person mentioned was Douehi, who I personally think is a very strong chance of heading south. Seems like he has a massive ego and the fact that Sheens has confirmed interest in Munster, I reckon that's enough for Adam to now have sandy flaps the likes of which a dredge couldn't resolve.
