Fair enough marley. I didnt know he had to strip weight. Maybe some more conditioning and strength training will help him be stronger when he runs out of dummy half so he can turn those half breaks into a line break. He is still a young man and has not reached his physical peak yet so im saying that i cant wait to see what he is like when he is fully developed.
Yh i think he is where he needs to be atm, he will continue to develop the more he plays physically. Also have to keep in mind with the reduction of interchange text season his agility will likely be handly through the middle rather than strength.

Tonight showed what Lichaa can do and also what our players should do. When Lane came on, he consistently backed Lichaa and got good ball which should've led to a try had J.Morris not dropped a sitter of a ball with the line begging.

The moment our speedsters clue onto the fact that Lichaa is capable of putting them in a hole the better, ffs he runs, gains 10m, breaks the first tackle and noone is in sight. Can't believe people are saying they prefer Ennis over him, he defends just as well and attacks a bucketload better. Needs to work on his passing game and gain more experience, but he's been consistently solid - great for us.

You shouldn't be, he was verbally ripping into ennis last year.
Didn't he have a crack at him saying he is taking his job and the dogs don't want you? Something along thise lines i think, good clean sledge.

Worried? What are you worried about? Potential sledging?

No one supports him when he's running. If our forwards ran with him he'd carve it up.

Pretty good summary. We'll get the support play more as they build confidence. Lane looked comfortable out there again tonight and has shown himself to be a good runner in support. Between Eastwood, Lane, B-moz, Pritchard and Jackson we should have great support play when Lichaa runs. The team just has to keep this attacking mindset.

Same again next week please Des.

LOL mate there is more than one Licahaa basher/Ennis Lover...

Also just like to add ennis basically threw des under the bus during week when interviewed on talking sport (2sm).. he said that he did what was asked of him when with the doggies that's why he didn't run , and Flannigan has basically given him free reign..

So if des doesn't allow the hooker to run why did lichaa make 105 metres last night?

I like what Lichaa is trying to do but unfortunately has no one pushing up with him except for Pritchard. Only thing is he needs to learn not to push the pass and take the tackle.

I noticed that Lichha tends to lose balance or just fall on the ground after he runs from dummy half without even being touched.

If Lichaa can develop even a short kicking game, he will be so much more dangerous close to the line, forcing defenders to consider the possibility he will kick is as useful as him actually being able to kick. I hope it's work in progress.

Lichaa did say in an interview a couple of weeks ago that over the next offseason he will work on his kicking game... he said that in the last offseason he was only working on his fitness to become an 80 minute player...

And that is the best thing to do, compare that to players like Rein who have been around a few years and still fail to play full games week in week out.

Ennis lover doesnt necessarily mean liccha basher.

Plus If Ennis never ran with the ball for us cos he was so inept, why all of a sudden he is on a different level as a hooker? Obviously he followed the game plan he was given and before last nights game liccha was doing exactly the same. It has already been noticed by many that liccha was a an attacking hooker last night to what we have seen so far this season.

point is he threw des under the bus.. And lichaa has run in other games this year, for instance the raiders game.. but some just want to focus on when he doesn't run.
