Lachlan Galvin here we come

Thays exactly the one. Use own the whole pool and what's around lol
I lived in Liverpool when I was 11, I loved those pools !! . . . The diving pool was a gold mine for me. There was always stuff to be found on the bottom. A bloke gave me 20 bucks to retrieve his watch from the bottom. In 1985 that was a decent reward

Sorry wen, but none of those things count as harassment (media at his house is cutting it a bit close, but they know the laws and abide by them). Call it something else if you will, but go and spend time counselling people who have genuinely been harassed and you will come to find it is quite disturbing for people to use this term so lightly.
Well I didn't really expect to have harrassment analysed as a psychology rating type word but accept your opinion.

I call it harrassment. The guy can't do a thing without being hassled or judged and it would be quite confronting but that's just my opinion and not meant to devalue what anyone else is dealing with in their lives by others.

So if I understand correctly.

Any person who has the club's best interests should put them first before anything else. Right?

Does that mean the CEO represents the club? And people like Benny should put them first before anything else?

Did you have the same feeling when Mortimer spoke out against Raylene and Hasler? I mean, you must've as he should've put the club first before anything, right?

I get that Benny has personal relationships and I know what you're trying to say but ...

Maybe just maybe he actually is looking from a club point of view and feels that they didn't handle this all too well.

And if, as you say correctly, club is always first then that also means before the CEO or any men / women in suits at the club.

And I think the CEO and the men/women at the club absolutely ballsd this up which it seems Benny agrees with.

Doesn't mean Galvin was right in what he did but ....
All im saying is that for a Tigers tragic, the least you would have expected from him is to remain objective in his criticism, yet he chose to support/defend his relationship with Moses rather than the club.

Its ok, Richardson is not an idiot. He'll remind Benny of taking this stance sometime in the future.

Just hurry up and announce the Galvin and DCE signings and we can all move on. Fuck this game needs some rules around player movement.

Gus would be crazy not to at least inquire about Galvin, at 19 the guy is playing great and could only imagine what he can do in a few years, but it will come down to the dollars for Gus as he won't pay the big dollars for him in his early years.

In a world of salary cap and rules around when you can discuss contracts with a player, i think its fair for Tigers to cry foul in the media having offered their player an unprecedented deal and him turning it down point blank and going as far as saying he wont be at the club after his current deal ends.

All the Tigers did was stop short of accusing him and his manager of doing an illegal deal.

We all know its been agreed to.. But they'll just play the game until Nov 3 or 4 to disguise it

Good on the Tigers for calling it out.

This is not dissimilar to Manly and DCE, although DCE may in fact retire or take up a corporate opprtunity which will save face.

Galvin is young and has his whole RL career ahead of him. He's not retiring or moving into media or going bavk to AFL.

He'll end up at another club, most likely on a ridiculous deal.
There's no proof of any other deals being done, though logic suggests you don't walk away from millions with just hopes and dreams.
How many other players have turned down a contract extension at clubs in the last few years so they can move clubs? How many of those have played out in the media?
If the Tigers don't put out their scorned lover type statement they have 6 or 7 months to convince him to stay before he can negotiate with other clubs.
This whole circus shows a lack of leadership and professionalism by the Tigers and certainly some naivety from the 19yo rookie.
