This is all on Baz and his obsession with Flanagan and trying to turn him into Cleary 2.0. Flanagan can't play on the ball, his decision making is awful and it's absolutely killing us. The best we have looked all season in when we play direct and Jake gets on the ball early and runs at defenders. Instead we revert back to this garbage with Flanagan playing slow, sideways and we create fuck all.

Surely we just throw the kitchen sink at Adam Reynolds. I know cowboys are making an offer but if he’s established his family in Sydney, he might want to say.

Not only will he make a difference, he will be able to attract other players and/or stop players like burton from trying to pull out!

Bellamy could coach Flanagan and it wouldn't make a difference. He's just shit. Robinson is a great coach and Flanagan played in a rep team and was still garbage. He's just useless and Averillo outshines him regularly now.

Lewis is average but at least he plays with confidence, energy and gets involved. Flanagan should be dropped and shopped as soon as possible because he's not FG standard and never will be.

Yep, watching Flanagan over the years his best and only assets are
1. Support play
2. Right edge cut out pass to centres in space close to the line.
3. Short kicking game.

1. Is still somewhat present in his game, but the others are non existent...

Baz shouldn't have signed him and made him a focal point of our attack then, pathetic decision and it's why I find it so hard to show any sort of patience with him.

I agree it was a dud signing and one of many including Allan, Hetherington and Waddell. It's why we keep saying don't buy Roosters rejects. If they're not deemed good enough for them, they shouldn't be considered good enough for us.

At least the last two games of Flanagan bottling it have made Averillo stand up and take more responsibility and even though it's not his game, he's handled it well and has had some great touches. Even his kicking has been decent at times..

Totally agree... I mentioned before all this rubbish talk in the off season, roosters ain’t stupid and they could see this kid has tunnel vision with no nrl smarts atall. People who blame our forward pack have no idea about footy. Maybe 1-2 games we got dominated up the guts but today he had plenty of opportunity and chances and fucked them all up.
If Trent wants to save his ass he needs to drop flano and slot in Lewis next week. If not and I said this before Trent can fuck off abd take the shit **** flano with him

Some interesting points by all.
Lets just say Barrett doesnt drop Flanno.
Which looks likely.
How would you have flanno play to get the best out of him?

Why does he always put a bomb on the 5th tackle if no one is contesting it? Averillo did everything to keep the momentum going but our dumb players shut it down quick.

We should have chasers at least putting genuine pressure on the catcher, if not contesting ourselves, also need good depth on the kick to give the chasers a chance.
