I really hope this kid is a success, both for himself and the clubs sake, you never really know who you are until you are really tested. His moment is here I hope he grabs it with both hands. Pressure crushes some blokes and turns others into diamonds, Be a diamond KO.
If he is to debut I'm sure fans wish him well as he gets his club number and first f/g jersey and commences his footy career with us.

Hopefully there will be some opportunity to see Oloapu live in the lower grades.
His highlights video is impressive but in reality meaningless.
The most important news this week will be whether Oloapu is given an opportunity in a lower grade and in what position.
If we only win one of the first 4 games Flanagan will be ditched as the following 4 games are even tougher. Until yesterday it seemed possible he might hang on for 8-10 weeks. Unlikely now.
So options like Reynolds, Rajab, BBO and Oloapu now have more urgency.
Oloapu is the one with the greatest potential but he is also the youngest and until we see him play we have no idea where he is at. Hopefully that is sooner rather than later.
That's the real story for season 2023. Especially the next few weeks until Flanagan gets shafted,
Or until we sign a real half back from a parallel universe.
So it was Reynolds who eventually replaced Flanagan after round 8!
Might drive down to Wollongong on Sunday, have a swim, a dosa, and watch both grades, weather depending.
No matter the result, and the number of players still out, Flanagan is finished and the Bulldogs are on the way back. Finally. Hip, Hip Hooray!

Unfortunately I don't know why he is in the team.

Stands at right side all game. Does not follow the ball around.

How can a 5/8 stand in one spot the entire time he is on the field.

Walker from south's is everywhere the ball goes.

I don't understand what his role is?

What plays is he setting up?

What is he creating for him self and the players around him?

He does nothing in attack?

Poor kid not his fault,.pretty sure that is the coaches fault because that's the instructions he MUST be receiving.

5/8 should be everywhere the ball is!

He looks lost, zero input into game, maybe coach is the blame. $500000 Fark.
Forwards are worst in comp apart from preston.

Not threadworthy so merged it with this thread. I mean sure vent, but dont sound ridiculous calling out a teenager with a few halves of FG exposure so far. He has been ok, and at times looks elusive. He wasnt why we lost at all.

A fullback should be everywhere the ball is. The fullback cost us 18 points, not the 5/8th.

Not disputing that!
But in attack he showed no creativity and is locked in a cage on the right side of the field
