I heard a rumour yesterday that Jarrod Hickey has hurt his back and will not play in 2009. I stress this is not confirmed, just a rumour at this stage.

Eventually Hickey will have to step up and take his game to another level. Having an injury like this would halt his progress greatly and set him back.

Hopefully it isn't true and Jaz can have a big off season, shed some kgs, become more agile and work on his fitness.

If he did that and became more aggressive he could be a really good player.

From a guy at my golf club whose son is mates with Hickey. As I said, its a rumour I heard 3rd hand so I will also wait for the club to confirm. Just thought I let you guys know what I heard.

he is not quality that is why bulldogs went and bought two new props in hogson and hannant and have john kite coming threw. hickey needs to lose a thousand kilos from his pie guts and get fit then he'll be quality
