Isn't that how we got into this mess in the first place by trying to turn a center into a 7? Cook at 7 would be almost as bad

We need a specialist 7. Gus seems to be of the opinion that we've got one in house so maybe there is kid coming through who will take that role next year because none of the current boys are demanding the jersey.

It's just unbelievable as to why these guys don't perform better and seize the opportunity. They must all know that its an even lottery and the one who, performs something like better than ok, will get the first grade job.

We need them all working 24/7 with Shifty ....or Barrett needs to get all the other coaches to take over the squad while he strictly puts heaps of hours into the average guys we have.

They all just blew up on their golden opportunity

It looks like the game plan needs altering bc so many can't execute Baz' plan or coaching or something. Even basic attacking structures dont appear to be constructed by all of these guys...just like last year.

Anyway hopefully they find some mojo against Sharks with our main playermaker, and our main motivator, on the field next week.

The only hope is that Burton's ability/class and Fox, Dufty and Naden's pace and broken field running make the other half's shit smell like roses and help cover up their flaws.

Our forwards look decent, some can offload. That'll open up some play for us (I thought Baz is strict on completions and offload stuff but seeing that a young fresh player like Max King felt free to promote the ball some players might've been given an offload licence) , an offload here and there definitely changed things for us this game). They should work more with offloads, if the opportunity is there

Averillo is deadset garbage. Flannagan cops his fair share of shit and for good reason BUT Averillo is no better. He can't kick, he can't defend and his attacking proess is very hit and miss.

Be kind to me, friend. I have worked hard in the off season. I deserve another opportunity.

It'd help if players ran in support on every run. It was a huge issue last season. Thankfully Dufty, Fox, Naden and Burton are good natural support players but everyone needs to push up in support, not just a handful of players...

He played for Wales (not a strong team), but he has something. The only other option is BBO.

It'd help if players ran in support on every run. It was a huge issue last season. Thankfully Dufty, Fox, Naden and Burton are good natural support players but everyone needs to push up in support, not just a handful of players...
